It's human nature to be humane

1 year ago Jane moved from her mother. They were leaving together since Jane's birth. She had completed her school and college and now desired to go to the university. She got admitted into a university outside her city. And this is the reason she moved there.

On her departure her mother burst into tears. She could hardly control her emotions. She prayed for Jane. She accompanied Jane to the airport. There she hugged her and advised her to be always careful. She made her to promise so. Jane agreed and told her to relax because it was just a moving and everything will be fine.

Jane rented an apartment near her university. She herself chose it. She also got the permission to make her home beautiful. So, she thought the home should be dyed. And that day she was dying the outside part of the house. A few strokes were left to make the house new. And she started stepping back to see the progress again. She had the color bucket in her hand.

And suddenly she hit an old lady and her colors fell on the lady. She became shocked and apologized instantly. But the old lady named Mrs. Brown said that her sorry would change nothing. She was furious as her clothes were ruined. She told Jane that she would never going to forgive her. Jane became shocked and sad at the same time.

The other day, Jane was on grocery. She put her basket on the floor and was choosing the fruits. This time Mrs. Brown was passing by her and intentionally she kicked on Jane's bag. All the groceries fell down. Jane asked her about it. She replied that the grocery basket was lying on her way. Jane still felt pity on her.

One week later, Jane woke up and went to her yard for a walk. And suddenly she noticed a trash bag. She also saw Mrs. Brown there. This time Jane became angry and asked her if she had left her trash on Jane's yard on purpose. Mrs. Brown smiled and said that Jane's yard was the place where all the trash belongs.

Jane had an invitation in a dinner with her neighbor Emily. She was sitting at the table and Emily entered with Mrs. Brown. As soon as she saw Jane, she asked Emily if she had invited Jane too. She also told Emily that Jane would ruin everything and they wouldn't have a good dinner. Jane also welcomed Mrs. Jane angrily.

Jane shared these all with her mother. She suggested her to take the first step towards reconciliation. But she said that it would be odd for her and she never would do it.

Week passed and Jane noticed that she hadn't seen Mrs. Brown recently. Her neighbor Emily had invited her in a dinner again. She went there and Emily invited her. She expected Mrs. Brown there. But Emily said that Mrs. Brown hadn't come and so everything would be peaceful. For this Jane should be happy. But she couldn't be.

Another two days passed and Jane didn't see Mrs. Brown. She really got tensed and met to Emily one evening. She asked her if she had saw Mrs. Brown. She replied that she hadn't seen her too. And suspected that something maybe happened to her. Jane told her that they should find out her.

On the next day Jane decided to go to Mrs. Brown's home. She knocked on her door and saw opening the door. When the lady saw Jane on the doorstep she asked her to be quiet and not to disturb her as she was sick.

However, Jane managed to entered into her room. Mrs. Brown didn't care about her appearance and laid on a sofa. Jane went to her and sat on another one. She felt worried as Mrs. Brown was very sick. She told her that she needed help fore recovering. Mrs. Brown took it negative and asked her if she was there to laugh at her. She angrily told her that she was old and sick and there was no one who cared about her. Jane felt very sorry for her and left the house. Mrs. Brown sadly said that everyone was just leaving her anyway and what she should expect from Jane as Jane hater her.

One hour passed and Jane returned her house. The lady became astonished and asked her if she had really back. Jane replied happily that she had got medicines. She also bought some groceries for her. Jane told Mrs. Brown that everyone would be getting her back on her feet soon.

After this Jane daily visited her whenever she got time. One day she made a beautiful soup. Mrs. Brown surprisingly asked if she had made that soup for her. Actually she couldn't believe that someone would do so much for her. Jane replied that this soup was of course for that beautiful lady as she needed energy to recover.

Weeks had passed and one day Jane and Mrs. Brown was sitting in the living room. Jane told her that she looked like she was feeling better. This time Mrs. Brown apologized to her as she had been so mean to Jane. She also could realize that Jane was the only one who had taken care of her. And she asked jane why she did so. Jane replied that it was simple as it's human nature to be humane and every man should look out for each other. Mrs. Brown became surprised and sorry simultaneously. She hugged Jane and told her that she was so sorry for everything she had done.

Again they had a dinner in Emily's house. She invited her neighbor Jane and Mrs. Brown as well. This time Mrs. Brown reached first and reserved a seat for Jane next to her. As soon as Jane went there, she requested her to sit on that seat. She also told that the seat was unoccupied.

Human beings really become human when their hearts are filled with kindness and mercy!
