Mia and Alan has a long life together. They married 23 years ago and have a son name Tom. They lived so long together but someone in their relationship didn't have interest in the other one. That person was Alan.
When they got married Alan thought that Mia is the most beautiful girl in the world. They had a happy family. Alan's parents also loved Mia and thought that she was the perfect girl for their boy.
Then they had a beautiful kid. Everything was perfect for the first 5 years. To be very specific it was fine after 1 year of Tom's birth. Then Mia found some changes in Alan. He was always late in returning home. Some day it took 2 am for him to arrive. He showed he had a lots of task in office. Even sometimes he didn't return home.
Mia handled everything in the house. She had to clean, cook, go to groceries, feed her son and many more. She thought that Alan is right. He may had got a lot of works to be done. She could find something wrong but she was blind in love with her husband. So, she pretended that her husband is just a good worker.
But for Alan when he returned home and saw his wife not prettier like before, he got angry. He wanted a beautiful wife, but her wife was always busy, sweats always and doesn't adorn her. For this he even could not appreciate her. He rebuked her with what she cooks and what she does. This had continued for 18 years. Sometimes Alan left the dining table saying that his wife can't even make a pie. He went out to eat in a restaurant.
But for Mia she tried her best to make her family happy. It was only she who does all the chores and keep the house clean. She doesn't have a maid. So, there's no time to rest. She forgot about herself while taking care of her family for over 24 years of her life. But she didn't mind because she had a hard working husband and an obedient son.
But her all thoughts come to be false when she got a note left by Alan. It was written, "I am leaving you for a beautiful lady. I am sick of your ugly appearance and non sense food. I want a better life."
When Mia read this she couldn't believe. She madly loved her husband then how he could not love her. She didn't got the answer. So, she wept much.
At this time her son Tom entered the room and read the note. Mia was sure her son would take her side and console her. But all her thoughts are wrong.
Alan also thought it was his mother for whom his dad has left the house as well as him. He rebuked her mother saying the same things his father used to say for the last 18 years.
But Mia didn't lose hope. She thought that her child at least will understand her. And they will get through this bad time. She will again live for her son. She took lots of care of Tom. Once Tom became sick and Mia cared him more. But everything went in vein when he said, "You are an awful mom. You even can't take care of me. If you could, I won't ever fall sick." This broke her mother. But she took every care he needed.
Tom got well soon by her mother's care. And Mia thought it's going to be good finally. But alas! One day at dining table Tom said, "Don't think you are a good chef. I think dad's new wife is a better cook than you."
Everything crossed limits that day and for the first time Mia got furious. She packed her son's clothes and told him to go to his father and his new wife. Tom happily did so.
When Tom rang the bell an unshaved man came out. He hardly could recognize his healthy and handsome father. Even when Tom said he has left his mom just like his father, the new family didn't welcomed him cordially. Rather the new mom said, "Another burden."
They started living together. But this new mom can do nothing. Only one thing she can do is screaming. She screams and orders Tom's dad and he had to obey this. She never cooks or wash clothes. The house is not clean too. All the savings gone away very fast to meet her needs.
Then they realized what they had left. They felt pity on themselves because they left a beautiful and hard working woman Mia. They decided to return to her.
But for Mia she's living the happiest time of her life. She never felt so free and now she needs not to be tensed anymore for anyone. She had a decent job and making a handsome saving too. Now she's leading her life just for herself.
So, when Alan and Tom showed up on her door she didn't take them in. She left them as once they left her.
