Almost three quarters of our earth is covered with water .But most of this water is located in seas and oceans.
It is salt water ,not fit for drinking.
Only a small amount of the Earth's water is fresh water.
It is found in glacier,streams,rivers,lakes and ponds .
Freshwater is also found underground.
All plants and animals must have water to survive.if there was no water ,there would be no life on Earth .we need water for many uses, drinking, cooking, washing, watering gardens , farming.
Sometimes,we pollute the resources of water by dumping waste from factories into river ,lakes .polluted water can be harmful to human ,animal and plant life.
Water is important for life on earth.
We need to take care of water resources.
