River of Life:

On this bank of the river of life waterless pastures

Water Lily flowers

The Water Lily of my beloved homeland is so beautiful. Water Lily is our national flower. The visual beauty of Water Lily flowers blooming on the water really fascinates anyone. Water Lily and Shaluk are some of the most important aquatic plants in Haor-Bawar wetlands across the country. Once upon a time, this flower ceremony was a sight to behold in the rivers and lakes of rural Bengal. So the Father of the Nation chose Water Lily as the national flower. Water Lily is a type of aquatic plant. The leaves are large, rounded, floating and the flowers are spectacular. The number of bee species is about 50. Born in different countries. In Bangladesh, there are two white and red blood lotus. Water Lily plants and stems grow in water depths ranging from 5 to 20 feet. The soft young and crispy stalks were eaten raw or with salt and tamarind as a delicious vegetable by the villagers. Moreover, Water Lily stem is still very popular as an excellent curry for cooking fish and meat. After two or three months of age, the petals of Water Lily flower fall off. A flower-like cluster is formed on the head, known as dhap in rural Bengali. The ceremony of these flowers in the lakes and ponds of rural Bengal was a sight to behold. Traditional Water Lily, shaluk and dhap are not seen much anymore.

Water Lily is usually red and white in color. It is also considered as a very good vegetable by many. The beauty of the Water Lily flower blooming on the water fascinates everyone.

Due to the adverse effects of nature, the ceremony of Water Lily flower is no more. Due to our ignorance, the national Water Lily flower is extinct today.

I have presented to you some known and unknown facts about our national Water Lily flower.

After two to three months of age, the petals of Water Lily flower fall off. A kind of flower-like cluster is formed on the head, the cluster is yellow in color. This cluster is known as Dhap in rural Bengal. These pods contain numerous seeds. These seeds are dried in the sun to make rice. Khai and Naar made from Dhap's nutritious rice are different in taste. Some people like to eat raw dhap seeds with bare mouth. It tastes good.

Once upon a time, during the monsoon season, the country's rivers, canals, canals, and ponds on both sides of the road could be seen with beautiful scenery of Shapla flowers. From the rainy season to the end of autumn, there were already many Water Lily and Dhap growing in the low land of rivers, canals, canals and reservoirs. Many people call these fruits and keep them in their food list. Children, people of all ages were mesmerized by the colorful Water Lily. Traditional Water Lily, paniphal, shaluk and dhap are not seen much today. Water Lily is disappearing day by day due to the excessive use of pesticides on the land and the effect of climate change. Many people in rural Bengal find this Water Lily medicinal to cure itching and bloody dysentery. The shell is found in the underground root of this plant. Not only increase the natural beauty, these fruits and flowers have a lot of nutritional value.

Vets and scallions also have delicious nutrient-dense ingredients. Shaluq is very tasty and tempting food for the village people. Elders said that during times of scarcity people used to collect these shaluks from the bills and boil them as an alternative to rice to reduce hunger. According to the season, Water Lily, Shaluk and Singra Kale-Bhadre are seen in the bazaars of Gramganj, but the price is very high. But there is a big bill next to our village and there are many Water Lily trees in that bill. And then the billows blossomed,

Evening Time

After wandering around all day, I came to the side of the road to see the sky view in the afternoon.

Afternoon appears to us as the end of a day. Afternoon informs us that today is the end of the day. Once the day is gone, you will never get it back. Because after the busy day of the morning comes the afternoon. Afternoon brings fatigue in our life. Maybe someone gets tired of the work pressure of the whole day and someone regrets not doing any work all day.

Our life is much like that. Many people regret not being able to do the work on time and many people use the time in life and say goodbye in the late afternoon with the satisfaction of success. One day many of us have to go through many obstacles in the way of life.

Human life is temporary. There is much work to be done in this transitory life. But many people do not use that time and later spend their lives in haste.

In the twilight you and I sit and look at the birds flying in the sky. I will sing the song of twilight forever, I will keep it, I will not forget the debt.
