What will you be remembered for?

What are you going to be remembered for should you retire from work, complete school, be transferred to another workplace, or be promoted from one position to another? Yes! We can not stay at a particular place forever.

Time is always in motion and we are also bound to move accordingly. But what legacies are we going to be remembered for should we make progress to different destinations in life? There is one thing for sure, it is either we are going to be attributed with good legacies or bad ones or even worse. I can tell that most of us were not born before the time and existence of great scientists like Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton. Yet, we have come to know them because of their footprints and immense contributions made to the world of Science.

None of us witnessed and observed the life of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Dr. Mahatma Gandhi, and Dr. Abraham Lincoln amongst many other great historic personalities but we have come to identify them by their works and by their zeal and passion to make a difference in their fields.

Likewise, not many of us were around during the era of the great tyrant Adolf Hitler but similarly, we have come to identify him with the act of atrocity and indiscriminate murder of innocent people. Most Ewes have never seen or known king Agorkorli but they are aware he had a questionable character.

All these people never lived with us but their deeds did and that's why they are still living in the hearts of many. You see, as mortals we can not live forever but we can create something that will.

It may be your passion for work, your ability to inspire the people around you, your services, your great ideas, your decency and discipline, your honesty, your intentions and many others. You are remembered for what you do best and how you present yourself.

Some of us may not even be remembered because we had nothing to offer.

But mind you, whatever you are doing now, people are watching and will one day use it in your memory.

*The idea is not to live forever but to create something that will.*

*If it must be done, it must be done well.*

*It is either you live to make an impact or you live make a living.*

"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest".

It's a fresh day with a new beginning. Begin with a new inspiration. Dare to make an impact. Always remember you're great. Be the difference you expect to see in the world.
