২০২১ : প্রথম স্পেস হোটেল

জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি শুধুমাত্র বাংলাদেশের সবথেকে বড় সমস্যা নয়, এটা সম্পূর্ণ পৃথিবীর সবথেকে বড় সমস্যা। আর এই সমস্যাটি খুব দ্রুত কমে যাওয়ারও কোন সম্ভাবনা নেই। জনসংখ্যা শুধুমাত্র বাড়তেই থাকবে, যদিনা যুগান্তকারী কোন সল্যুশন পাওয়া যায় বা কোন ম্যাজিক ঘটে। যাইহোক, United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) এর প্রেডিকশন অনুযায়ী, ২০২৫ সালে পৃথিবীর মোট জনসংখ্যা হয়ে দাঁড়াবে ৯ বিলিয়ন। আর ২০৫০ সালে জনসংখ্যা হবে ১০ বিলিয়নেরও বেশি।
২০৩৩ : AURORA স্পেস মিশন
২০৩৩ সালে ইউরোপিয়ান স্পেস এজেন্সি একটি নতুন স্পেস মিশন স্টার্ট করবে যার নাম AURORA। ইউরোপিয়ান স্পেস এজেন্সি সবসময়ই চাঁদ, মঙ্গল গ্রহ এবং অ্যাস্টেরয়েডগুলো নিয়ে গবেষণা করে আসছে এবং ভবিষ্যতে মঙ্গল গ্রহে মানুষ পাঠানোর প্রথম ইনিশিয়েটিভ তারাই নিতে চায়। তবে এই মিশনে প্রথমে মঙ্গল গ্রহে মানুষ পাঠানোর আগে হয়তো তারা একটি স্পেস ক্রাফট এবং অন্য কোন প্রানী পাঠাতে পারে। কারন মঙ্গল গ্রহ বসবাসের জন্য আসলে কতোটা উপযোগী এবং সেখান থেকে পৃথিবীতে ফিরে আসা কতোটা সহজ, সে বিষয়েও তাদেরকে স্টাডি করতে হবে।
২০৩৫ : কোয়ান্টাম টেলিপোর্টেশন
না, এখানে কোন রহস্যময় জাদুকরি টেলিপোর্টেশন সম্পর্কে বলা হচ্ছে না, যেখানে কোনকিছুকে না ছুঁয়েই এক জায়গা থেকে আরেক জায়গায় সরানো হয়। ২০৩৫ সালের দিকে কোয়ান্টাম টেলিপোর্টেশন টেকনোলজি নিয়ে রিসার্চ করা হবে এবং সেটির ব্যাবহারিক প্রয়োগও করা হবে যার সাহায্যে একটি নতুন রিলায়েবল কমিউনিকেশন সিস্টেম তৈরি করার লক্ষ্যে। এই কোয়ান্টাম টেলিপোর্টেশনের সাহায্যে ফোটনের পোলারাইজড স্টেটকে স্পেসে পাঠানো হবে। এই সম্পূর্ণ টেকনোলোজিটি সঠিকভাবে ইমপ্লিমেন্ট করা সম্ভব হলে তা প্রযুক্তি এবং কমিউনিকেশন সিস্টেমে একটি যুগান্তকারী উন্নতি এনে দিতে পারে।
২০৫০ : অসংখ্য সাফল্য এবং বিপর্যয়
১৫ বছর এগিয়ে যেতে হলো, কারন এই ১৫ বছরে কি হবে এবং কি হবে না সেসব একবারেই বলা যায়। উল্লেখযোগ্য সব ইভেন্টগুলোই আস্তে আস্তে সফল হবে এবং আরও নতুন নতুন ইভেন্ট এবং প্রোজেক্ট নিয়ে কাজ করা হবে। তবে ২০৫০ সালের দিকে এবং এরপরে প্রযুক্তির সেক্টরে মানুষের অসামান্য সাফল্যের থেকে বিপর্যয় ঘটবে আরও বেশি।

২০৫০ সাল পর্যন্ত অ্যামাজন রেইন ফরেস্টের প্রায় ৫০% ই হারিয়ে যাবে। বাড়তে থাকা জনসংখ্যাকে থাকার জায়গা করে দিতে হবে তবে এই সময়ে এসে পৃথিবীতে আর তেমন কোন খালি জায়গাই থাকবে না, যার ফলে কেটে ফেলতে হবে বন-জঙ্গল। তাই এতদিনে অ্যামাজন রেইন ফরেস্টের প্রায় ৫০% ই জনবসতিতে পরিবর্তিত হয়ে যাবে। পৃথিবীর মোট জনসংখ্যার ৭০% ই বসবাস করবে শহর অঞ্চলে। তখন গ্রাম অঞ্চল নামে মাত্র থাকবে এবং গ্রাম অঞ্চলে জনসংখ্যাও হবে খুবই কম।
তবে আরেকটি গুরুতর সমস্যা হতে পারে পানি বিপর্যয়। ২০৫০ সালের দিকে পরিষ্কার খাওয়ার পানির অভাব দেখা দিতে পারে এবং পৃথিবীর প্রায় অর্ধেক জনসংখ্যা পরিষ্কার খাওয়ার পানির অভাবে পড়তে পারে। পৃথিবীর মানুষের অ্যাভারেজ লাইফস্প্যান হয়ে দাঁড়াতে পারে ৭৬%।
আর এমন সময়ে এসে, গ্লোবাল ওয়ার্মিং হয়ে পড়বে আরো বেশি গুরুতর এবং পৃথিবীর অধিকাংশ দেশের গড় তাপমাত্রা আগের তুলনায় অনেকটা বেড়ে যেতে পারে। আর পৃথিবীর কয়েকটি দেশ চলে যেতে পারে পানির নিচে।
সাফল্য
তবে এসময় মানুষের সাফল্যেরও কমটি থাকবে না। এসময় সেলফ ড্রাইভিং কার হয়ে পড়বে খুবই সাধারন এবং এখনকার তুলনায় অনেক বেশি পরিমান মানুষ সেলফ ড্রাইভিং কার ব্যাবহার করবে। আর এসময় আর্টিফিশিয়াল ইন্টেলিজেন্স হয়ে পড়বে আগের থেকে হাজার হাজার গুন বেশি স্মার্ট। অনেক রিসার্চার মনে করেন যে, AI ততদিনে এতোটাই স্মার্ট হয়ে যাবে যে, মানুষের রিয়াল লাইফ ফ্রেন্ডের মতো বিহেভ করারও ক্ষমতা রাখবে রোবট।
এগুলোই ঘটবে আজ থেকে ৫০ বছরের মধ্যে, অন্তত যদি সবকিছু ঠিক থাকে। মানুষ টেকনোলজির সেক্টরে যেভাবে প্রতিনিয়ত উন্নতি করেই চলেছে, তাই আগামী ৩০ বছরে এগুলো ঘটবে, এটা খুব কমই বলা হয়। হতে পারে ৩০ বছরের অনেক আগেই আমরা এই সব নতুন কিছু দেখতে পাবো। যদি আজ থেকে ৫০ বছর আগের কথা চিন্তা করেন, তাহলেই ধারনা করা যায় যে মানুষ কতোটা ফাস্ট এবং কতোটা ফাস্ট ফিউচারে হতে পারে!
