Fallacies has been part of everyday life of normal people that could be seen through jokes, sarcasm or just normal conversations. Weirdly enough these supposed uses of fallacies has now spread to the online world where people argue that's mostly composed of fallacies. Countless fallacies if you ask me. And if you're observant enough, the usual people trying to affirm or repudiate your post, a post that could be fact or opinion, are in fact using fallacies.
Nothing to be ashamed about using fallacies though. But using of it so much that during an argument, especially online, even during a factual debate is running rampant these days. It's everywhere. Why? Is it because who use it are not familiar of these so called Fallacies? Or are they naive enough to use it just to prove a point? We'll never know. We are after all in the age where logic and critical thinking is no longer avowed.
I understand that sentiment very well. Arguments now don't even make sense. The supposedly intellectual debates don't follow the path it used to have but rather, it's just a litany of childish banters
