Hello my friends, I hope you had a good Thursday ...
Every morning I watch her pass by as I sit on the park bench drinking my morning coffee and glancing at the news in the papers; there she is, running around the track like an athlete.
Her long, straight hair seems to move naturally in the breeze, causing me to get butterflies in my stomach from looking at such beauty. On a few occasions, we cross our gazes. We both let out a small accomplice smile, but so far, neither of us has dared to go further.
I like to dream that we both share a moment, a small conversation. I would like to know what She thinks, what she does, and everything she would like to tell me about her life.
This story repeats itself every day in the morning. Sometimes I arrived late to work, waiting to see her before going to work. I come to feel that if I don't see her running, the day will be a total disaster.
She, on the other hand. Goes like a free soul, illuminating my life without knowing it. Filling my mornings with colors. Cheering myself up before I see myself covered in papers behind a desk.
And so I am happy, in my way, only dreaming of her, afraid of being rejected, although I am sure she is a kind person and out of politeness would share a little moment with me.
It's been several days since I last saw her. I don't know what has happened! Is she sick and that's why she hasn't come to run in the park? There are many questions that I ask myself and, I don't get any answers. I even think that she has found the love of her life and has left the city, which is impossible for me to know because we have never talked.
When my hopes were already diminishing with the passing of the days, the light in my eyes came back, here he comes, here he comes! I repeated in my brain excitedly. My heart was beating so hard. That it seemed that at any moment it would come out of my chest, my pulse accelerated, I could not hide my excitement. I think it was so great that she realized it because, when she crossed my bench, where I was sitting waiting to see her pass, she shared with me the most lasting and beautiful smile we could have shared.
This time I could not let the opportunity pass. I was sure that on the next lap, I had to talk to her. As she was approaching my stall, I got up carefully, without her noticing my nerves and my clear intentions to talk to her. When I was closer, I dropped my newspaper, making her stop her running.
-Hello, I haven't seen you running for days! I commented with a trembling voice.
-Hello, I wasn't in town. She answered me kindly.
I think she noticed the emotion her words caused me. Because I could see on her face a somewhat mischievous look. And a smile that invited me to continue the conversation.
-Would you like to...
-Yes! She interrupted me immediately without letting me finish my sentence.
This story will continue...
