Hello guys.
Good day good people.

The Kapaliçarși (Kapali street) is the largest shopping centre, and it is no surprise that it is an inevitable place for tourists from all parts of the world to visit if they meet in Istanbul.

In addition to numerous sights of turkey's most populous city, Grand Bazar has become synonymous with Istanbul. There is no person who visited Istanbul and has not visited at least one part of grand bazar.

The first association to shop is certainly the Kappali sheet. In this market you can find everything one mind can imagine, which would be said “from needle to locomotive.“ We didn't buy much except for some teas and smaller gifts symbolically for this town.

Prices are symbolic, vary from very cheap things to more expensive pieces of clothing, but we did not come shopping but for a tourist offer and unforgettable adventures worth every money.

The photos show beautiful pieces of a hand-designed unique plate, vase, cup, that attracted my attention.

EDIT:

Here are a few more photos from Kapaliçarșhi. Not to forget to say that this Bazaar initially consisted of a slave market and from numerous hans, former caravans in which Silk Road merchants could rest as well as sell their goods.

Today it is an opacity complex from which you can not get out, and there are two mosques, exchange offices, a police station, cafes and an info counter.

It is important to mention that Kapaliçarchi survived 20 earthquakes and several fires. Everything is offered, so it's impossible to go around and examine everything.

A very rich offer of carpets, clothes, jewelry, ceramics, coffee and tea services, spices and what not. The golden rule of purchase is haggling because prices due to high rent are a little raised, so it is worth being very persistent.

In this alley, I bought one big copper jazzva (džezva; turc. kahve için caz) and I only paid €10. In Sarajevo, the same jazzva costs at least €25. That's more than double the price.

I bought myself nice coffee cups. See you soon. ;)
