What are your thoughts on the morality of lending and debt?

Of course when you have a debt you have to pay.

Yet I also feel that debts should not be enforced especially to the poorest of the poor. We hate people who profit from lending money like the banks,5-6 lenders etc, yet we love it when our money in the bank earns interest.

We often heard of moneylenders as usurper, evil yet we need them when we are in a dire financial situation.

I myself is in ambiguous position when it comes to the morality of lending money.
