We live in a busy and impatient world. A world where many are deeply consumed in the ocean of the problems in their life.
A world where people are in a hurry and it is as if the 24 hours🕙 available in a day is no longer sufficient for them to get their work done.
Operating under this burden, it is not surprising that people generally lack patience to listen to others.
😞Husbands after a long day at work on getting home just want to eat and sleep, while the wife has something on her mind that she would like to get off her chest and the man is just not ready for that.
🙇🏼♂️Fathers often times are too engaged and will hardly spare time to listen to their children narrate to them their experiences at school and also discuss their fears and their troubling thoughts.
Everyone at some point have a tale to tell. Perhaps a tale of woe, a tale of joy, a tale of the troubles in their heart.
Everyone needs someone to just spare a few minutes to listen to them, but unfortunately for some people, it is like nobody has time for them, everyone appears to be preoccupied with their own issues.
📣The good news this morning is that when no one has time for you, God has time for you.
📣When it appears that no one is ready to listen to you, God is ready to listen to you, one of God's so many attributes is that He is a listener. Alleluia.
🙆🏼♂️The Psalmist found himself in a situation where he needed help, he needed attention, he needed healing, he was heavily burdened and needed someone to unburden himself to.
🤦🏼♂️He was so humbled that God could “bend down" from His exalted height in glory to listen to little him.
🤦🏼♂️He was humbled that God could consider him important enough to listen to him and it seems to me that if all the Lord did was to listen to him, he would have been satisfied.
📣But that is the thing, God does not just listen, He also act based on what you tell Him. He told the Israelites – “just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you" (Num. 14: 28)
📣Our God is listener. He listens to us, He hears our cry, our pain, and He acts to bring healing, to bring deliverance and to bring succour to us.
🤷🏼♂️Are you burdened with life's troubles, your spouse or children have become a source of pain to you, you have fears about what the future holds for you or your family?
Whatever maybe the trouble, you can talk to God about it and He will heal your pain, He will lift that burden off you and He will give you rest (Matt. 11: 28).

🎯Father, I praise you because you are a listening God, you bend down to listen to the cry of your children
🎯Father thank you that when no one has time for me, you have time for me.
🎯Father, in a world where people are generally too preoccupied to listen to others thank you that you are always available to listen to me.
🎯Father, you do not just listen, you also acts in response to what you hear. Thank you for your various acts of blessings in my life in response to your listening to me.
🎯Father, please help me never to hesitate to trust you with the burdens and pains I go through. Help me always to look up to you for healing and comfort in Jesus name.
