An Excellent Question

Greetings good people. Read & remain blessed.

*Text: Psa. 15: 1*

"Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?" NKJV.

An excellent question

Our text poses to us an excellent question to ask ourselves and when we see the qualifications listed as response to this question in the rest of Psalm 15 we see how we fall short of God's standard in this regard. Some of the qualifications listed are as follows:

 He who walks uprightly,

 He who works righteousness

 He who speaks the truth in his heart

 He who does not backbite with his tongue,

 He who does no evil to his neighbor

 He who does not take up a reproach against his friend

An excellent question

The truth is that none of us can by our own ability dwell in God's presence, we lack the qualification that can grant us access into His presence, whatever we lay claim to as our righteousness is just as a filthy rag before God. We give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, for His finished work on the cross of Calvary, through which He purchased for us the righteousness that we need if we are to gain access into God’s presence. Through Jesus we can partake of forgiveness that God offers to all who will turn to Him in repentance of their sins, and through His forgiveness we can partake of the power of God, the same power that raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and that is also able to raise us and make us alive from dead works thus qualifying and creating for us access into God’s presence.

Accessing God’s tabernacle and dwelling on His Holy Hill is not an option but a necessity for anyone who desire to live a victorious life on this side of eternity, it is a necessity because that is also the access to the world of the unlimited possibilities that is available in God. All things are possible yes, but only to those who are able to access God’s tabernacle and to dwell in His presence. Dwelling in God’s presence here means fellowship with God. Fellowship with God is therefore impossible if we are unable to gain access to His presence. We can therefore appreciate the reason why the question our text is asking us is very important.

Though on our own we lack what it takes to access His presence, thanks be to God who through our Lord Jesus has made a way for us. Let us therefore take advantage of this that Christ has done to access God’s presence and to stay in fellowship with Him. Shalom

Prayer Points

1. Father, I thank You that You were able to walk to that Holy Hill to die for my sins. Now by Your power I can have Your freedom and forgiveness and stability.

2. Thank you Jesus for your finished work on the cross through which I am able to access and dwell in God's presence

3. Father taking advantage of what Jesus Christ accomplished for me on the cross, I hereby access your presence and stay there in Jesus name

4. Father please grant me grace to be deeply committed to regular, consistent and daily quality fellowship with you in Jesus name

5. Father, by your power and grace, no satanic agenda, no satanic agents, no force of life will succeed in taking me out of your presence in Jesus name.

It is not by our power nor is it by our strength but it is by Gods grace, we can never be worthy to be in Gods presence, it is our through the grace Christ has released to us on thre cross that we can stand before the father Today

Yes. Our earthly strength can't lead us anywhere good. We can't progress without God's intervention
