PLEASE FORGIVE HIM......
Me: I couldn't held my tears.....😭
Rape is evil, the wounds and hurts is unbearable.
7 years ago i started my housemanship at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia. My first posting was Paediatrics. I Love Paediatrics! I loved going to the ward. I loved the fact that children don't pretend about their illness. When they are sick, you will know. And when they recover, nobody will tell you. Their hearts are so pure. You just have to love them. I loved attending to them when i go to the ward. Sometimes when they are fussy, my fellow house officers will call me to help calm them down if i'm in the ward, so that they can administer their drugs. Some of the children will then cling to me and refuse to let me go. Sometimes, their mothers will tease me and tell me to go with them. When we encountered children with rare blood types, i gladly gave my blood to save them when all effort to get blood fails. I just love attending to the medical needs of children.
So one day, we had a 10year old girl admitted into the ward with AIDS. We battled to save her life. My consultant, who is very great at what she does, did everything she knew to do. But her condition was not improving.
I used to spend some time with her and her mum, who was taking care of her, encouraging them and making them laugh the little way i could. Her family was not disjointed, you could see the love they shared. It was palpable. She was the third child in a family with 5 or 6 children, i've forgotten the exact number. Her mum stayed with her at the hospital while her dad shuttled the hospital and their home, looking after the ones at home and making sure they had everything they needed at the hospital.
As time went on, her mother began to freely communicate with me. So one day, i was documenting at the nurses' station when her mother came for something, i've forgotten what. We got talking and i asked her how the child got HIV. She was the only person that was living with HIV in her family.
"She was raped when she was 6years old" she replied.
I was soooo shocked, wondering why an innocent 6year old could get molested by anyone at all.
The man who raped her was arrested and later release because he was old (above 60years old) and because the police "felt" he was "somehow mental". All their efforts to pursue the case failed and so they dropped it. The man walked free!
Her mother told me that she was her smartest child and that she behaved like an adult, even at 10years old.
Meanwhile, a couple of months after she was raped, the child became sick and was diagnosed of HIV, and her journey of life began. With time, she deteriorate even though she was on antireteovirals, until she found herself in the hospital.
That just broke my heart. I started spending more time with them and encouraging them more.
One day, her mother called me to her corner and asked me to stay with them that she does not understand her daughter's behaviour.
"What's the problem ma?" i asked when i got there
"She is asking for her siblings. She is insisting that all of them should come and see her today. Her daddy has gone home to bring them. Funny enough, they all refused to go to school today." she replied.
I examined her and found nothing out of the ordinary, so i reassured her. I stayed with them for some minutes, and then promised to come back when i finished my work for the day.
When i returned as i promised, her siblings were already there. Her mum was crying. I felt they were having intimate family time so i wanted to leave and return later, but her mum insisted i stayed. So i stayed and listened.
She was talking to her siblings. She made them promise they were going to be of good behaviour. She told them that no matter what happened to her, they should be strong. She told them that they must love God with all their hearts.
At this point, her dad went outside and started crying silently.
She turned to her younger siblings and encouraged them to be obedient and good children.
She called her elder brother, held his hand and told him to take care of their family. She told him to take care of their dad as he is the man among them. She begged him not to give their parents trouble in raising him. She begged him not to be a wayward child.
She called her elder sister and told her to be a good girl. She told her to take care of their mum as she is the older girl in the house. She told her that she made some promises to their mother to take care of her when she grows up, but that she may not grow up to fulfil that promise, so she should help her to keep her promise by taking care of their mother.
At this point, her elder brother of about 15/16years could not take it anymore and he went outside to cry.
i realised that tears were flowing down my eyes too and i could not hold them back. I examined her again and she looked ok to me. But i was scared of the things she was saying, even at her age. So i called my registrar to come and examine her.
People were already outside, patient relative mainly, trying to console her father and her brother. I stayed with her mother, reassuring her.
But before the registrar could get there, she looked at me and smiled as she said to me "Doctor, thank you for everything you have been doing for us. You always come here to see me. Thank you."
Then she turned to her mum and said " You must forgive him. That man that did this to me, you must forgive him."
She then took a deep breath and turned her face away from us.
As the registrar walked through the door of the ward, she took her last breath. Before my registrar could get to her corner, she was gone. We tried all we could to resuscitate her but we couldn't.
It was her mum's heightened cry that announced to her father that she was dead. He rushed back inside and was shouting "Ọ nwụgo? Is she dead? Ọ nwụgo?"
He then took her siblings outside and a crying spree ensued.
I could not hold my tears that day. And from that day, i hated to do calls in the ward. I preferred children emergency and the newborn unit, and thankfully, the roster gave me less calls in the ward.
This is not fiction. Sincerely, i did not make it up. It happened to a 10year old girl who was raped at the age of 6. The rapist walked free.
What a rotten society. This has gone on for too long in this society.
Something needs to be done.
Something has to be done.
My heart hurts.
My heart bleeds.

Tips to make learning permanent
1. Create a study space
Defining a specific study space that is free from distractions such as cell phones, television, and family interruptions accomplishes two things. First, it tells your mind that you're ready to focus, and second, it cuts your actual studying time in half. Why? Because your mind retains focused study more effectively than unfocused and interrupted study.
2. Take effective notes both in class and while reading your text.
Write down key concepts in bullet points. If you have questions, write it down. After class and after a reading session, write a summary of what you learned and what you continue to question. Review all of your summaries weekly.
3. Implement memorization techniques.
Two simple techniques are: mnemonics and journey visualization. Mnemonics are acronyms or silly sentences as the key to retaining important data. For instance, many people remember the lines of the G-clef by remembering this simple sentence: Every good boy does fine. The lines in the G-clef are E, G, B, D and F. Make up your own helpful hints to remember key information.
In journey visualization you imagine a familiar place, such as your home or school, and assign items in the journey to the data you need to remember. For example, if you want to remember the seven colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet), you would begin by using a place such as your living room as a visual aid. Imagine that on the sofa is a huge Yellow pillow, on the coffee table is a barrel-sized red coffee cup, on the floor is an orange bear skin rug, etc. Practice a visual journey around your living room noting the key items in the room. Remember that the more outrageous the images, the easier they are to retain, and consider that pleasure increases memory retention.
4. Pretend that you will have to teach what you've learned.
In the habit of teaching what you've learned, you will easily remember them. The process of taking the new information and teaching it to someone else will force you to fully understand the new ideas.

Ten Time Management Hacks continued
HACK TWO:
*FOCUS AND WORK ON PRIORITIES, NOT AIMLESSLY DOING NOTHING, NOT HAVING THE ATTITUDE OF ANYTHING CAN GO*
When you have the attitude of anything can go, then you would not be able to manage your time effectively.
You need to have daily, weekly and yearly focus based on your priorities!
Outline your priorities and set your focus eg. I want to focus on this Two things today.
It may be 1, 4 or 5 depending on what you want.
Schedule your day to align with this focus.
In fact Lack of time management is synonymous with absence of priority-based focus.
*#HACK THREE:*
*KILL PERFECTIONISM AND GO FOR EXCELLENCE*
One of the Greatest Sponsor of Procrastination is perfectionism: by This I mean: *Everything must be fine before I take actions*
Everything must be fine before I achieve something!
No! Everything must not be fine before you achieve something!
You must not have a laptop to write a book or design a website, you can still do this with your smartphone.
You don't have to wait till you buy a Laptop.
Get up and start something!
Start from somewhere!
The more you embrace perfectionism, the more you embrace procrastination.
Go for excellence: Getting the best at your reach per time.
It does not have to be perfect but not mediocrity!
You will underutilise your time, if you always wait for everything to be perfect!
*#HACK FOUR:*
*STOP TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING*
Get trained in a particular area and gain mastery on it.
If you're running a firm, learning how to do everything in it is dicey.
Get someone to help in a section, if you don't have money to pay salaries.
Get someone trained in it, then he volunteers for you.
Trying to do everything will burn you out!
And misuse your time!

Why you act The way you do: human emotions
First, I'd like to define human emotions as:
A strong feeling, aroused mental state, or intense state of drive or unrest, which may be directed toward a definite object and is evidenced in both behavior and in psychological changes, with accompanying autonomic nervous system manifestations.
The physical form of emotion may be outward and evident to others, as in crying, laughing, blushing, or a variety of facial expressions. However, emotion is not always reflected in one's appearance and actions even though psychic changes are taking place.
There is this common misconception that when emotion is being mentioned one will think of affection… “Affection” is simply a type of “emotion”.
Truth is if we want to talk about all the types of emotions it'll really take much time just bear with us as we manage the time we have
The Basic Types of Emotions and Their Effect on Human Behavior
The word 'emotion' encompasses a broad range of feelings, behavior and changes in the body and mind.
professor and psychologist, Robert Plutchik listed the basic or main types of emotions as follows:
joy
trust
fear
surprise
sadness
disgust
anger
anticipation
These, he said, can be classified as primary, secondary and tertiary emotions.
Along with the primary emotions, we also experience secondary emotions which are a direct reaction of the primary emotions. For instance, a person may feel ashamed or guilty after experiencing the primary emotion of fear.
Plutchik also stated that humans experience not only primary and secondary emotions, but tertiary emotions as well.
For example:
Fear is a response to impending danger. It is a survival mechanism that is a reaction to some negative stimulus. It may be a mild caution or an extreme phobia. If the fear is trivial, it is called "trifling fear" or if the danger seems formidable it is a "serious fear".
Easy Tips for Emotional Balance
1. Breathing
Watch your breath throughout the day for signals about your stress level.
2. Practice Gratitude
Pause at regular integrals throughout the day and consciously find something that you are truly grateful for.
3. Change Your Viewpoint
If you're stuck in the middle of intense emotions, you won't see clearly and you will be reacting from past patterns. Act don't react. Consciously choose your actions from a place of clarity, rather than justJust reacting to pain or running toward pleasure. As soon as you notice yourself losing your emotional center, excuse yourself and change your view, literally. Go to theThe bathroom, splash cold water on your face and recast the situation as6 though you are viewing it from 10,0000 feet, so you get some emotional distance and can remain objective.
4. Feel
So much tension and wasted energy is spent repressing or denying how we feel, both emotionally and in our bodies. Instead of pretending to be something that you are not, feel honestly what you are feeling and allow the simple truth of your emotions to set you free.
5. Use Your Senses
Pleasant thoughts through the organs of your five senses orient your field of awareness toward the present moment, through what you see, what you touch, what you smell and taste.
6. Generate Energy
You have to generate energy if you want to have it. Especially if you have a job that requires you to stay seated for long hours, remember to take every chance you get to walk, stretch and move around.
7. Reflect
Take the last moments of your day to reflect on the good things about your day, seeing the negative experiences as learning and evaluate rom the perspective of what you can learn, not how you failed. Take stock of the positive and negative emotions you experienced throughout the day. Validate yourself for progress made towards your emotional, physical or career goals.
8. Surrender
While it can be great to goals and visualize the future don't let yourself get too caught up in how things "should" be. Be prepared to let go of your attachments to any particular outcome so that you can be open to something bigger than you have ever imagined.
Managing your emotions 4
I've been writing about controlling our emotions today, and it seems I'll come to a close here. But I have one more tip to share and that is:
4. Do what you love
When you’re immersed in some activity you’re passionate about, and you’re really focused on what you’re doing, it’s difficult to feel bad. Doing what you love uplifts you in so many ways! Do it, and do it as often as possible.
You’ll be happier and better able to cope with life’s monkey wrenches when your life is meaningful and when you do what you love.
To round up, this is what the Bible say about emotions....
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Managing your emotions 3
Other helpful tips in controlling our emotions in addition to the ones I shared earlier include;
1. Smile
There is something absolutely magical about a smile. Try this for yourself – next time you are feeling blue, or red-hot with anger, smile. Some people say we laugh too much, yeah, but then there's a reason for smiling and laughing at times....It just has a way of calming you down.
Did you know that it is physiologically impossible to have bad feelings if you are smiling? It sounds silly; but seriously, try it. It really works. If you wake up sad, stressed, or angry, smile at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning.
Just stand there and smile at yourself. Make yourself do it even if you don’t want to. Hold that smile until it’s genuine. Hold that smile until… You know what will happen? You’re going to burst out laughing whether you want to or not! Any time you feel bad, just smile. A smile that is genuine lights you up. It’s a physical action so in harmony with Love that it can’t help but make you feel better.
2. Meditate
Meditation changes your relationship to your emotions. It’s not denial – it’s a shift of focus.
Sometimes the best way to accomplish something is to do nothing. In this case, just ‘being’ is enough to shift your mood. You can do a quick meditation anytime you need to calm yourself and gain a bit of self control.
Close your eyes and focus on your breathing for as long as it takes you to calm down. Feel the inhale and exhale; count your breaths if you like. Do whatever it takes to keep your focus on your breath and off the situation at hand. That’s all there is to it!
This little time out will give you time to gather your thoughts and perhaps see the situation in a different light. It is a great step in learning how to control your emotions.
3. Give it a minute and a half
When a negative emotion hits you, be aware that it takes just 90 seconds for it to pass through your system. From the time your limbic system generates the emotion to the time that chemical reaction dissipates, is a minute and a half.
If you simply feel the emotion – and don’t get involved in the thought that generated it by repeating “I feel (angry, sad, etc.)” – it will pass and you’ll regain your equilibrium. Be wary of identifying with your emotions using the words, “I am.” You are not your emotions!
Try this tip next time you have a sad or upsetting thought. Repeat to yourself how you are feeling, but don’t allow yourself to stray from that focus. Don’t think about what made you upset. Feel the feeling and let it go; your self control will intensify!
Managing your emotions 2
In addition to the tips I shared earlier, here is something you'd never have thought to be important in controlling your emotions.
6. Forgive your emotional triggers. Your emotional triggers may be your best friend, your family members, yourself or all of the above. You may feel a sudden wave of anger when your friend "does that thing she does," or a stab of self-loathing when you remember something you could have done differently. But when you forgive, you detach. You detach from the resentment, the jealousy or the fury lingering within you. You allow people to be who they are without the need for escalating emotions. As you forgive, you will find yourself disassociating from the harsh feelings attached to your being.
Brothers and sisters, this is a constant reminder of our ardent nature, emotions surge through us at every second of the day. But we often take wrong actions when wrong feelings filter through our mind without restraint. To avoid the burn of acting out during an emotional upsurge, take a few simple steps to calm your heightened spirit and quiet your uneasy mind. When the moment has passed (in hindsight), you'll be grateful you were able to be the master of your emotions.
Experience Uncomfortable Emotions But Don't Stay Stuck in Them
Managing your emotions isn't the same as suppressing them. Ignoring your sadness or pretending you don't feel pain won't make those emotions go away.
In fact, unaddressed emotional wounds are likely to get worse over time. And there's a good chance suppressing your feelings will cause you to turn to unhealthy coping skills--like food or alcohol.
It's important to acknowledge your feelings while also recognizing that your emotions don't have to control you. If you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you can take control of your mood and turn your day around. If you are angry, you can choose to calm yourself down.
Managing your Emotions 1
1. Don't react right away. Reacting immediately to emotional triggers can be an immense mistake. It is guaranteed that you'll say or do something you'll later regret. Before refuting the trigger with your emotional argument, take a deep breath and stabilize the overwhelming impulse. Continue to breathe deeply for five minutes, feeling as your muscles intense and your heart rate returns to normal. As you become calmer, affirm to yourself that this is only temporary.
2. Ask for divine guidance. Faith is our saving grace in our darkest moments. No matter your creed, developing a healthy relationship with the divine world will help you surmount your obstacles more easily. This is because when you believe in a higher force, you also believe in the power of divine intervention to show you what you must do, teach you why something is happening or even save you from a certain unwanted situation. When burdened with emotion, close your eyes, envision a positive solution to your problem, and ask the universe to illuminate the best path forward.
3. Find a healthy outlet. Now that you've managed your emotion, you'll need to release it in a healthy way. Emotions should never be bottled up. Call or go see someone you trust and recount to them what happened. Hearing an opinion other than your own broadens your awareness. Keep a journal and transfer your emotions from your inner self onto the paper. Many people find it helpful to engage in aggressive exercises, such as kickboxing or martial arts, to discharge their feelings. Others meditate and chant to return to a tranquil state of being. Perform whatever activity is best-suited to you in order to liberate your being from pent-up sentiments.
4. See the bigger picture. Every happening of our lives, whether good or bad, serves a higher purpose. Wisdom means being able to see past the moment and discern the greater meaning of any given situation. You may not understand it in the beginning, but as time goes by, you'll begin to see the bigger picture falling into perfect order. Even in the midst of an emotionally upsetting moment, trust that there exists an ultimate purpose which you will come to comprehend soon.
5. Replace your thoughts. Negative emotions bind us to recurring negative thoughts, creating cycles of downright negative patterns. Whenever you are confronted with an emotion which is making you feel or think something bad, force it out of your mind and replace it with a different thought. Imagine the ideal resolution to your problem playing out, think about someone who makes you happy or remember an event that makes you smile.
Always speak life- on God!
Mark 4:40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
There were overwhelmed in the storms and the fear of it. They were so afraid of dying, that they forgot the presence of Jesus (the creator of storms ) in the midst of it all. At that point nothing made sense except how to struggle out of it.
Are you in a storm right now in your marriage, career, health, academics or ministry? Jesus has a question for you: why are you afraid? This question is rhetorical and connotes the fact that there's nothing to fear when the Master is still with us. It's amazing to know that there's no time Jesus has been with us more than now because He's omnipresent through the personality of the Holy Spirit.
Have faith in God, stop focusing on the storms: focus on Jesus. Don't allow the enemy defeat you through your fear, defeat him with your faith. You are created to win.
Let's pray together.
Powerful Father, thank you for calming the storms in our lives. Please touch every troubled heart and give them boldness to stand in you, in Jesus name. Amen.
Go for the highest prizes
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians3:13-14
In life, no level is the highest, no matter how high or exalted in the eyes of men. This is true in spiritual, physical, financial or marital achievements. There's always room to improve as humans. Don't envy anyone in this world, for no one has arrived.
The only place we can be fulfilled, while improving is Christ. It's time to stop falling back to the past, it's time to move forward for a greater manifestation of the presence of God in us. Paul saw this, considering his ugly past. He refused to be hunted by his past atrocities, mistakes and ignorance because there's a greater glory in Christ. There's a greater call in Christ, let us press forward to this glorious attainment daily.
Go for the prize of the high call. A call to righteousness and power. A call to miracles and soul winning. A call to love. A call to give ourselves completely to God. Are you battling with your past? Today is a new dawn, Hallelujah! Arise and let the power in the name of Jesus strengthen you to move forward.
Let's pray together. Thank you Father for your high call upon us. Today we let go of our past, as we press forward for the prize of your high call in our lives daily. Strengthen us more, OH LORD, in Jesus name. Amen. Keep pressing forward!
Be a salt, not an insult
SALT
A salt has no need to look like other ingredients, sends out no aroma like other seasonings, but without it the soup is tasteless.
Men of true impact don't fight for position, visibility or appearance.
Their results speak for them not their propaganda.
You don't need to shout to be heard, people keep quiet to listen to intelligent people.
A salt maintains its integrity amidst pollution.
Have you seen where a salt buyer demands to taste it before buying? because salt has proved its integrity over the ages.
If you will need to swear before people believe you, you lack integrity.
Is your life a salt to the earth or an insult?
The easiest and only way the salt can lose its taste is when mixed up.
Watch your association, you are too needed to be wasted..
Be a *salt* not an *insult*. 🙏🙏
Immorality doesn't pay!
The truth about sex must be told and preached in all churches worldwide. The reality is that people especially holiness preachers don't talk about sex at all.
Whenever sex is mentioned, then people get offended and begin to murmur and make negative comments about it. Yet those people are the very personalities living in one sexual sin or the other.
There is no way any holiness preacher can preach true holiness to God's satisfaction without teaching the pew about their sexuality, the careless use of sex, and the dangers involved and assume all will be well.
People need to be enlightened about the sin that has dominated the age. The sin that has captured the youths in the church, the sin that has brought teenage pregnancies and abortions.
There is something both the aged and the infant do not know anything about. The church also has closed her eyes on this particular issue. Nobody wants to talk about it but it is very real.
In case you are not aware my brethren, I want to tell you that: SEXUAL IMMORALITY is the last bullet the kingdom of darkness has thrown against the church of God, and the church is wounded very sore that there seems to be no cure or remedy.
I want to make it so clear and not in jargons or vocabularies that, you cannot count the number of people who go to church and proclaim the name of God, that are still living in immorality. They may either be suffering from lust, masturbation, pornography, adultery, incest, homosexual, lesbianism, sodomy, bestiality and many more which time will fail me to mention.
Hardly will you come across a young lady who has not been misused by 'so called boyfriends'. And every guy is now dating because of sex. God is watching all those that are having sex with people they haven't married.
It's a headache for God seeing his own created people perishing in a sin called sexual immorality. How many young men today in the church can you count and point fingers at that fornication has not pulled down?
A pastor slept with his junior pastor's wife, impregnated her, and used the name of God to defend himself that it was God who instructed him to do so.
If sex that is supposed to be between husband and wife only, is now between father and daughter in the church, do I need to tell you there is fire on the mountain?
If sex that is only legalized between a man and his wife, is now between a guy and his girlfriend or between a man and his fiancee, do you need angels to come and sound the warning against sexual immorality?
If sex that is a sacred thing in marriage has become a desecrated thing in dating, what else do you want before you prepare the way of the Lord?
PASTOR, WHY ARE YOU QUIET?
Cry aloud, spare not. And tell the house of Jacob their sins, and Israel their transgressions. Pastor why are you not crying aloud? Why are you so mute like ELI? Heaven is shedding tears over the perishing souls every day and you are there raising funds every Sunday to build bigger Auditorium.
You call your members for anointing services and prayer meetings without urging sin out of them.
Some are living together with men that did not pay any dowry on them. Some commit abortion and cover it up. Some are lesbians and homosexuals. What are you doing about that?
Where has the word of God that says "flee fornication" gone to in your Bible? From henceforth, if you don't take this warning and start declaring war against this strange spirit that has taken over the church, you'll have questions to answer.
And those who claim they love holiness messages with negligence to this particular truth about sex have actually missed the mark.
AND YOU CHURCH MEMBERS!
To be active in church and still be committing immorality, God is watching you.
To be a child of God and still having a boyfriend or girlfriend, God is watching you.
To be a choir member or youth leader and still be doing what the married are doing, if you like continue.
All you need is genuine repentance.
CHRIST'S COMING IS VERY IMMINENT!
He's the Lion OF The Tribe Of Judah
Who's Jesus Christ?
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Revelation5:4 -5
A lion is the king of the jungle. This is because, in the jungle, the strongest becomes the king and it's only the lion that prevails over every other members occupying the fierce habitat. Jesus Christ is symbolically called the LION because He has prevailed! Hallelujah!
Looking at the location of His symbolic domain, the tribe of Judah was one of the smallest and the unique thing about them was that they were sovereign. They were always attacked because they were viewed as vulnerable, weak and unprotected by the larger nation of Israel.
Jesus Christ is the Lion King to the vulnerable, unprotected, and weak. He's the voice of the homeless, fatherless, condemned or unjustified. He came to deliver the hopeless and make them victorious. Are you thinking about the way out because nobody is on your side? Cry no more, for you have Jesus, who is worthy to reach out to the depth of all difficulties, for He has prevailed.
Hallelujah! He has prevailed over sin, nailing it to His cross. He has prevailed over Satan, making a public show and triumphing over him. He has prevailed over sickness, healing all manner of infirmities by His strips. He has prevailed over poverty, for by His poverty we are made rich. He has prevailed over joblessness, generational curses, unholy habits, depression, delays, struggling, failure and every spiritual battles.
He's able to open the book of our lives, read through it and effect changes. Since Jesus is the only one that qualified to open our secrets,we are more than secured. Arise, weep no more, for THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH has prevailed. He's the root of David because He's both a King and a Priest. Jesus is fully in charge!
Let's pray together. Heavenly Father thank you for prevailing over our lives through Christ. We surrender all our issues to you, please fix us and make us whole, in Jesus name. Amen. Always remember, Christ has prevailed.
God is the supreme authority. He's the ultimate
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the commander in chief of all powers in heaven and earth. It's amazing to know that through submission to the Father's will He overcome all. It's significant here, because the power at His disposal means the authority to manipulate any situation of life according to His will. This is evidenced in His ability to heal incurable diseases, destroy death, change a poor man to a wealthy one irrespective of his background or generational strongholds, transform a dull brain to one with excellence, among other miracles that can't be captured in words. By His power, He delivers even the lawful captive and destroys the works of darkness. His decision is final, for by His sovereignty the Lord is unquestionable.
That power resides in us if we allow Him to abide in us and we abide in Him. Even in hopeless situations, the loving Jesus in us is able to turn things around in our favour. Are you already tired because of disappointment everywhere? Calm down, for Jesus has not left you. With His power, Christ shall make you smile again. Just be sure to abide in Him, for by track record nobody has ever run to Him and return unfulfilled. Jesus will do it again just as He's always done.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the manifestation of your power in our lives, lo these years. We trust you for more miracles and for our families, our friends and enemies, please deliver us from the evil of this age, in Jesus name. Amen.

*"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." (Hebrews 12:14)*
If Only You Can Look Deeper
You don't try conclude on situations you think there is no solution but try look deeper by not focusing on who cause it,y how tough it is etc. But, focus on why it must be solved.
*ANALYSIS*
Mercy got stocked in the middle of the road that fateful day while traveling to her home town. She thought to herself "Oh! It is finished. No extra cash in my pocket and nobody is passing that is willing to help out" Meanwhile, there was a noticeboard just 500 meters away from her with the inscription "Please check inn if frustrated on the way"
*FACT*
People are most time too busy seeking soft and easier means to getting through that they could possibly believe that there is no any other way out when such means are thwarted.
*NOTE*
There is always a way if only God is involved in that situation. When your inner eyes are opened, you see possibility all around but only God through His son can really open those inner eyes so cleave to Him.
*EXTRACT*
*Life itself exists deeper than just a wish. The whole world was a product and function of a command. No shallow command ever produce force that is enough to yield positive result.*
_Good morning..I pray for you, God will open your eyes to solution today_
Avoid Embarrassment And unnecessary Pressure In Life.
1. Put your kids in schools you can afford because expensive schools don't guarantee good results. Just ensure they attend a good affordable school.
2. Rent apartments you can pay for conveniently. Don’t live in a house you struggle to pay yearly.
3. A man whose wife is pregnant has good 9 months to prepare, same as the pregnant woman in question. They should even plan for the worse and only seek help when they can’t meet up.
4. Some problems in our lives don’t just pop up, if you don't own a home, we knew we would pay rents...So its not an emergency.
5. Let’s plan our lives and live within our means. Save more and spend less.
6. Some women buy food for their children every morning before going to school or even for the whole family, do you know it’s cheaper to cook at home?
7. Some people don’t earn much, but have DSTV at home, go for GOTV and upgrade when your income upgrades. It’s still the same CNN anyway!
8. Eat healthy meals and protect your family from mosquitoes to avoid going to the hospital always.
9. Take advantage of food and fruits in season, its cheaper and you can be creative to create amazing meals.
10.Don’t copy your neighbor’s lifestyle, she may be earning higher or her husband is a big man. You are also unique in your own way
11. Don’t follow trends, wear clean well- ironed clothes and keep your hair neat. You would still look good.
12. Keep your circle small, keep only friends that have sense!
13. Above all things, have the fear of God, have integrity and don’t be lazy.
14. Planning is the key, if you fail to plan, you plan to FAIL.
15. Don't do more than your budget , there is no award for the family that wore the most expensive cloth for the year
16.Don't be in competition with anyone... The purpose of shoes and clothes are to make us smart and good.
...wish u marvelous and rewarding time
It's not yet over until it is over

Just Encourage Someone
Ever given support to someone?
I posted few weeks back on my status that support is loud. If it can't speak, it can do.
The whole idea where we support a person in our minds is vapour. It's nothing.
The truth is, we sincerely only have each other. Dogs are cute. Cats are great. But when we look at it really, humans only have each other.
I made a decision this year to put my heart out there and truly support the people I support. Because it is one thing to wish people well, it's another thing to go out of your way to help them.
Nobody is entitled to your support. This is true. However if there be anyone you support in your heart, I'm saying...help them.
It's rather unfortunate that we are in a wicked world filled with "me mentality". We are threatened by the progress of others. We don't hate them, we just don't like them because they seem to be doing better than we are
But they are not doing better than you. No one is; Because when we say they do better, it means there is a competition, hence the need for a comparison.
But there is no competition.
That cliche saying that the only person you've gotta be better than today is the person you were yesterday, holds true. And even that has a balance. Progress can be slow. It's still progress anyway.
So give yourself time. And while at it, intentionally look out for others on their way up with you and help them.
This is not to say that you've gotta support everything, especially if it goes against your values; this is to say, the people you already support in your heart, support them with your hand.
It doesn't also mean you've got to lose an arm for people, but maybe there's that one thing you can do to help. Maybe it's sharing information you know will be needed. Maybe it's putting a call through and checking up on the 'strong people'. Maybe it's sending recharge card to someone you know might just need it.
No,nobody is entitled to all this. But, we've got only each other.
It's tough enough to be in this world. Even tougher to be in this country. But if everyone's got everyone, we would be everything we need.
I don't know who needs to hear this today but I hope you do; SUPPORT IS LOUD.If it can't speak, it can do.
Thanks Everyone Who Packed My Parachute
Air Commodore James Aseidu Aniagye was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He, however, ejected himself & parachuted safely. He won acclaims & appreciation from many.
After five (5) years, one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came and said. "You are Captain Asiedu! You flew Jet fighters, you were shot down"
"How in the world did you know that?" asked Asiedu.
"I packed your parachute before you you flew," the man smile and replied" Asiedu gasped in suprise and gratitude and thought, " If the parachute hadnt worked, I wouldnt be here today"
Asiedu couldnt sleep that night, thinking about that man, he wondered how many times he might have seen him and not even said, "Goodmorning, how are you?" or anything because he was a fighter pilot and that person was just a safety worker.
So Brethren, "Who is packing your parachute?" Everyone has someone who provides what they need to make it through the day, weeks and months.
We need many kinds of parachutes when our plane is shot down- we need the physical parachute, the mental parachute, the emotional parachute, the spiritual parachute and the financial parachute. We call on all these supports before reaching safety.
Sometimes in the daily challenges that life gives us, we miss what is really important.
Appreciate someone today!
We are classmates only in school, not in life
I was thinking this morning..... about our speed in this race of life. Last Sunday, I was privileged to attend the wedding of the daughter of my good friend and former classmate in the College.
As I sat as part of the guests at the reception, listening to the proud MOB (mother of the bride) giving her speech, I reflected on how far we've come as former classmates in school. I considered how her children are of marriage-able age (the youngest just turned 20), while mine are still teenagers. I recalled another classmate of ours whose son just graduated as a medical doctor, but mine just about entering Secondary school. As
I pondered on why it seems I am lagging behind, the face of another of our classmate flashed by and I was reminded that his children are still in Nursery school While some of my classmates are yet to find their missing ribs.
At this point, it dawned on me that though we were all classmates and graduated together same year, life has shuffled us and placed us in different classes today. We were classmates in school, but not classmates in life. Everyone has his unique class. I concluded that in the school of life there are no classmates, because Life is a class of one.
Life is a class of one. Hmm!!! That conclusion held me down for a bit. Ten years after I got employed in my dream job, getting a second promotion became a prayer point.
One day, a colleague that we came in together on same level walked up to me and said 'Bro, na wa o! We came in together and I have gotten three promotions and you, just one. Is there something you are not doing?' I left him feeling bad but not for long because soon after, I realised that in the school of life there are no classmates. Life is a class of one. He is on his path while I am on mine.
Have you considered why, from the same branch of a tree you have both ripe and unripe fruits? The seeds were released same time, exposed to same nutrients and environmental conditions but yet some ripen before others. Identical twins that deliberately wait for each other to be in the same class, engage in the same business like P-Square (Peter and Paul Okoye) and even wed on the same day, will not get their wives pregnant on the same day. Life is a differentiator. My mind is made up that Life is a class of one.
If it is true that in the school of life there are no classmates, because Life is a class of one, then why do we look at another and feel inadquate, like we are not where we should be? Why would someone that has been privileged to be in a somewhat lofty position look down on others like he is superior in some way?
Life is a class of one. I am in my class for now (it can always change) and you are in yours. Do not sweat over the class others are in, because there are no classmates in life. If you like, give yourself double promotion like we do in those days, life will eventually place you in the class you are meant to be.
Do not compare yourself with anyone, because you are in a class of one.
There are no classmates in life.
Let's ponder on this as we journey through life.
One year after she called me an idiot.. Important Lessons
She asked a question in a general group on WhatsApp.
I responded to the question professionally.
She tagged my response and typed: "you're an idiot"
I replied: "Thanks so much, now that you point my attention to this idiotic part of me, I'll surely work on it, God bless you my dear..."
And the whole place shook. Over 118 people commented and were so surprised by my response. Of course she was terribly bashed to the extent that she left the group.
An hour later she called me to apologise for her stupidity bla bla bla.
We became friends.
Then I ended up handling her premarital counselling sessions.
Two days ago, on my birthday, she and her husband gave me a gift worth over 1.2million naira.
This was a year after she called me an idiot.
Life Lessons from this experience.
1. MATURITY: Your reaction to negative feedbacks or situations shows how mature you are.
2. CHOICE: You have the power of choice whenever anybody does or says anything offensive to you.
3. SELF CONTROL: If someone calls you anything negative and you lose yourself and begin to fight or shout or do anything terrible, you only prove them right.
4. SILENCE IS GOLDEN: It is better to keep quiet and people think you're a fool than for you to open your mouth and they confirm you're truly a fool.
5. DISCERNMENT: You cannot because the baby pooed in his bath throw the baby away with the bath water.
6. POSITIVE POWER: You have the power to win people through your maturity and composure and not through overly being more sanctimonious than the person.
7. POSITIVE IMPACT: Life is all about people. If I had responded to her negatively, I would have lost a friend forever.
8. WISDOM: There are people who are sent to you by God to help your journey in life to be worthwhile, your meeting point might be at a fighting point. Be wise, even when you're angry.
9. HUMILITY: She was humble enough to call and she apologized.
10. RECONCILIATION: Maybe there's someone you need to reconcile with today also, go ahead and do just that.
We can all get better with ourselves, with these key lessons.
Some morning motivations
Successful people have two things on their lips, "smile and silence".
Smile can solve problem while Silence can avoid problems.
Sugar and salt may be mixed together but ants reject the salt and carry away only the sugar.
Select the right people in life and make your life better and sweeter.
If you fail to achieve your dreams, change your ways not your God.
Remember, trees change their leaves and not their roots.
You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones to every dog that barks.
Haters will see you walking on water and say its because you can't swim.
Even if you dance on water, your enemies will accuse you of raising dust.
Make it your ambition to live a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands.
Remember, don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it. --
Be Inspired and have a great day.
5 Medical Tests You Must Not Fail To Do WITH Your Partner Before Marriage
Every time the issue of medical tests is mentioned, intending couples get apprehensive and scared because they don’t want to discover crazy realities about their spouse-to-be. The other reason is that people simply have skeletons they don’t want to let out, but isn’t that the idea of having these tests In the first place?
Marriage is a lifelong affair, and going into it without the facts can ruin the experience for one. You must have a proper knowledge of what/who you’re settling for. These are some tests I consider compulsory before you walk down the aisle.
1. HIV AND OTHER STIs TEST
There are health conditions that have no cure, including HIV and Hepatitis B and C. You need to know your partner’s status so you’re equipped with knowledge of how to protect yourself in case they turn to be positive, and you want to marry them regardless. There are treatable ones like syphilis and gonorrhea, but you have to know so as to know how to protect yourself and minimize risks in marriage.
2. BLOOD GROUP COMPATIBILITY TEST
Blood groups need to be compatible with each other to avoid problems during pregnancy like the Rhesus disease. It is a condition where antibodies in a pregnant woman’s blood destroy her baby’s blood cells. Women with rhesus negative blood group married to rhesus positive husbands have a greater chance of rhesus incompatibility where the growing fetus takes after the father in blood group causing this problem, and leading to intrauterine death and miscarriages.
3. GENOTYPE COMPATIBILITY TEST
There are different genotypes, but not all of them are compatible. Marrying AS as and AS for instance can potentially be a problem when you have kids because it’s very likely you’ll make SS babies, which means they’ll suffer from Sickle Cell Anaemia. Doing this test will help you understand how to make the best decision for yourself.
4. FERTILITY TEST
Of course, you want to know whether or not the person you’re marrying can have children. If they can’t, knowing early is a big plus because that’s how to make arrangements for adopting, etc, so as to avoid the future complications associated with an inability to conceive.
5. GENETICS AND TERMINAL ILLNESS TEST
Early testing allows couples seek medical care before the medical conditions gets to its terminal stage. This test depends on the region and the common chronic/genetic condition seen in that society. However, this test should include screening for diabetes, test for hypertension, certain cancers kidney disease and test for thalassemia, amongst any others you feel need done..
Intellectual Compatibility between intending couple
Since intimacy in several different dimensions is the bonding material which holds a marriage, it’s important that we look at these for potential compatibility.
Intellectual harmony or compatibility is another ingredient, but it doesn’t mean you have to have the same degrees, number of degrees, vocational interest, etc. You probably won’t see things the same or even think the same.
Your learning styles may be different in that one may enjoy learning through what they see and the other through what they hear. Being married provides an opportunity for each of you to grow intellectually and also discover to a greater degree your spiritual giftedness.
Some who marry are avid readers, and some are not. I may be the reader, but it isn’t my spouse's main source of learning. Sometimes this is affected by time availability as well as vocational pursuits and time of life.
Be open to being challenged by the other person’s knowledge, insights, and opinions, which creates growth in both of you. Respecting your mate’s abilities and differences is part of intellectual compatibility.
Used versus Loved
While a man was polishing his new car, his 6 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car.
In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times, not realising he was using a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father... With painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his own actions...., sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; The child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .
Anger and Love have no limits;
Choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life....
Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
But the problem in today's world is that, people are used and things are loved.
Let's always be careful to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved.
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits they become character; Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
Do u know the relationship between your two eyes?
They blink together, move together, cry together, see things together & sleep together even though they never see each other.
Friendship should be just like that! Life is vanity without FRIENDS AND LOVE

Our day to day business, what should we expect?
Business started with our great fore bears (our fore fathers) who were mainly hunters, moving from place to place eating raw fruits and animals which the forest blessed them with.
Later, the middlemen discovered that these fruits can be planted and the animals reared for consumption instead of moving around for benovelence
That was how agriculture blossomed and it was mainly subsistent agriculture. As time went on, people started producing more than they needed, this prompted trade by barter. Later on, because of the problem of double coincidence of want, money replaced barter syestem as a medium of exchange, this brought commerce into business.
Presently we are in the industrial era, where machines have replaced human labour in many industries and sophisticated equipment replace crude farming tools.
And in just a few years, you never can tell the unique things that would be invented to help in our business. We might see the full implementation of the "work from home" that we've been hearing.
The one thing that is constant is change. We grow everyday. And as we grow, we discover new things.
With what we've seen so far, I believe in the power of change. I believe that business will get better and yield better returns.
Before you ask for a God fearing man
Ladies would find this more interesting. They often use the phrase, "God fearing man" when describing the kind of man they would want as a husband.
But You see that God fearing man you say you want? Please the next time you are making that confession kindly add some 'toppings'.
Some God fearing men don't know the meaning of romance, the few men that know the meaning of romance lack the knowledge of how to express it, the other godly men that know how to express romance are struggling with the eagerness and prompts to express it in marriage without holding back. See, I am saying this with my eye ball out like guuuulp!!!
Some don't like plenty sex, some others even try to have a time table for sex with their wife.
Add toppings to your confessions my darling, sweet sweet toppiings. Dont leave it at God fearing alone, some of them have so feared God that they think kissing their wives too much is a SIN. Some feel sleeping regularly with their wives is lust of flesh.
They cannot ballance loving a wife and loving God at the same time with the same pace.
The only thing that makes them active is 'let us pray'.
Add toppings please, spice your confessions to taste. God fearing that can see a beautiful dress at the mall and buy two for me.
God fearing that can buy me sexy lingeries to keep his fire burning.
God fearing that can pray well and 'do' well. GOd fearing that can heal the sick and romantically heal my emotions.
Not the God fearing that will lock the bathroom door each time He wants to take his bath because he feels sharing his naked body with you is carnal.
Not the God fearing that cannot peck you on Sunday because God rested, I mean the God fearing that can do bedmatics adventure with you on sunday morning as the spirit leads.
Before you will go and meet the God fearing that will sing "up up Jesus, down down satan" for you in the name of Love song, please add toppings.
God's will is for you to marry a man who fears and loves Him with all his heart and soul, but you are permitted to add virtuous toppings to your own portion of God's will.
My sisters, I hope you are hearing me?
