Amazing article.used to tell this to my Education students when they had to write a letter to the registrar of the Faculty which held equal value in the Registrar’s mind to the results of a 4 year degree:

Don’t write it about yourself. Write it about others. Write it about how the people with whom you have been involved have succeeded.

Nobody wants a teacher who is the light at the head of the class. Everybody wants the teacher who makes the kids in the class what it’s all about.
