A few years ago, advertisements on television and social media showed a lot of talk among mobile operators about 3G. The mobile networks we used to use were 2G connections. After stepping into 3G, we saw that the speed of internet increased many times. Accompanied by many more new accessories. It's been a long time since 3G came along. Then one day the same thing started with Forge. One by one, all the mobile operators rushed towards Forge. The speed of the internet and the service of the operators again saw a radical change.

Shortly after entering the era of Forge, Five Zero was announced. Speculation about this was multiplied by the display of some mobile phones supported by Five G at the Mobile World Congress or MWC. Although we are not very familiar with this fifth generation of wireless system, we all know that this wireless system comes with more new and improved features with each generation. So let's read today's blog to know what is FiveG, what are the new additions to FiveG mobile network, when can we get FiveG services, what are the main differences with the previous generation and what kind of impact 5G can have in our daily life.

What is 5G?

The 5G is an acronym for Fifth Generation Wireless System. It is a state-of-the-art wireless network developed in 2018 and beyond. The technology that was initially included in the Five Win is the creation of a millimeter wave band at 24, 26, 36 and 60 GHz and a speed of 20 gigabytes per second. Multiple inputs Multiple outputs -64-256 i.e. short for MIM and its wide range of applications. It is thought to be at least 10 times more powerful than Forge. 5G will be able to ensure faster and more reliable service than Forge.

How does 5G work?

The 5G network is a digital cellular network. This divides the service area controlled by the service provider into smaller geographical areas like a mosaic. These small parts are called cells. Analog signals are transmitted to phones by converting bits stream using an analog-to-digital converter, and those signals are digitized in the form of sound and images on the phone. The 5G wireless devices in each cell communicate via radio waves via a local antenna array and a low-powered automatic transceiver or transmitter. Local antennas are connected to the telephone network and the Internet via high bandwidth optical fiber or wireless backhoe connections.

The range of millimeter waves is smaller than microwave. This is why the cells are relatively small. You have to cross the walls of the building and face the problem of these waves.

Performance

Five G technology is basically the focus of everyone's interest for its performance. Let's not forget the key changes that are coming in performance with 5G technology.

Speed

The speed of the Five G New radio connections is below the 8GHz band and faster than the Forge network with the same amount of spectrum and antennas. However, some three GPPG networks are slower than the advanced Forge network. The Five-G specification includes Licensed Assisted Access (LAA), although the Five-G has not yet demonstrated LAA. With some exceptions the speed is many times higher in millimeter wave spectrum.

Latency

The air latency target of the Five-G network is 1 to 4 milliseconds. However, testing on equipment shipping in 2013 found latency of 8 to 12 milliseconds. The servers must be connected to Latency Air Latency. Verizon's pre-deployed 5G has reported 30 milliseconds of latency.

5G supported devices

In March 2019, the Global Suppliers Association released the first database of Five G supported devices worldwide. According to the Global Suppliers Association, 23 companies in the database have confirmed 5G support on their 33 separate devices. These devices are declared in seven form factors. Form factors include mobile phones, hotspots, indoor and outdoor customer premises equipment, modules, snap on dongles and adapters, and USB terminals.

The downside of 5G

Despite the good intentions of all groundbreaking innovations, there are some downsides. Five G is no exception. We have already caught some of its flaws and the fear of creating some problems from it is increasing among the people. Let's see what they are.

Interface problems

The spectrum used to win the Five is very close to remote sensing technologies like weather or observation satellites. In particular, the spectrum of water vapor monitoring technology is almost identical to 5G. So it will be difficult to manage the effective control rhyme interfaces. To address the issue, United States Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and NASA Administrator Jim Berdenstein called on the FC to withdraw some spectrum auction proposals in February 2019. Although the proposal was returned.

Panic over radiation

Since 2018, some groups have been formed who have been opposing the Five G deployment. Although most of the administration does not believe that 5G has any effect on public health. A 5G trial was shut down in April 2019 in Brussels, Belgium, for fear of radiation. A planned upgrade of 5G was also stopped in Geneva, Switzerland for some unknown reason. There is a mixed reaction in the media. Some media have mentioned 5G as harmful to health. Some media outlets claim that there is a lack of scientific basis behind such claims. After all, things have caused a mixed reaction among the public.

The panic of the spy profession

Many believe that Five G technologies imported from Chinese equipment vendors could be used for espionage. For this reason, the use of Chinese equipment for the Five G network has been banned in several countries. The Chinese vendor and the government have dismissed the claims as false.

The first 5G supported phone

The first phone supported by Five G is the Lenovo Moto sub brand Moto G3 smartphone. Phone Five G is upgradable via a Moto Mod. Motorola has partnered with Verizon to launch this phone. Then gradually big brands like Samsung and Huawei started announcing their 5G supported phones. Samsung's first 5G supported phone is the Galaxy S Ten 5G. The Huawei smartphone is the Mate X.

5G and Bangladesh

The entry of Bangladesh 5G will take place through the state-owned mobile operator Teletalk. Hon'ble Minister of the concerned Ministry Mr. Mostafa Jabbar confirmed this. The Government of Bangladesh is working to provide 5G services across the country by 2021. Other major mobile operators in the country have already started implementing 5G technology.

High speed internet is very important to keep pace with the outside world. The various discoveries of science have brought the whole world in our hands. High speed internet is a must to make those discoveries easy to use. Before the advent of 3G in the country, the number of people connected on social media was very low. But with the advent of 3G and high speed internet, people have become well-known on social media and other international services. As a result, the process of globalization has become easier. As a result of this fast internet and globalization, we are also seeing some beautiful changes in the startups of the country.

Foodpander-like applications have arrived for ordering food online. For the convenience of transportation, our own native Pathao application has come. Foreign services like Uber have come to the country. All of this has been made possible by the availability of high speed internet. The better the internet service, the better the related services will be. In other words, it is understood that internet technologies are closely associated with the socio-economic development of the country. It is hoped that with Five-G technology, books will come to the country with such a wonderful radical change. Young people will bring this change by developing their creativity using this technology

You are absolutely right. We should moderate our networks first. Becouse in Bangladesh we can't even found 2G netwok on our phone properly. That’s most sad thing
