AIM TO IMPROVE YOURSLEF EVERYDAY I learned that it is important to have a goal to improve yourslef every day. People with grit always want to improve, no matter how good they are already. Whatever their goal or purpose is, they aspire to get better at it each and everyday. Whatever their goal is purpose is, they aspire to get better at it each and every day. Every day, there are opportunities to better ourselves and grow ourselves - we just have to be on the lookout for them. It's against you, not you against anyone else.
