It took me a while to grasp that not all the people you value and who hold your stories will continue to be a part of them. Some will simply be left out of every line, while others will only be kept in the specific chapters rather than all the pages of your life. The truth is that you won't move towards the people you deserve if you keep turning back to those who left out in the cold. Loving someone doesn't mean that they will stay, rather, it means how much you cherish and tried to hold on to every connection you have. Missing them is normal, but allowing them to control your life's space is harmful. Some people only meant to teach you the lessons that are essential for your growth. Everything exists in cycles. You have to move on, let go, and be yourself with or without those people.
