Passing by St. Sophia Cathedral I personally took this photo when we went for a quick visit to St. Sophia Cathedral in Harbin, China way back in 2019. I tried to be creative with my shot but I’m not sure if it’s a yay or a nay! Lol! Just to give a brief history, our tour guide mentioned that this church was build in the 1900’s and has adopted a Russian Style Architecture. There was an attempt before to destroy it due to some cultural revolution, but it has survived and the government and some private individuals have made efforts to facilitate its restoration. I wasn’t able to take a full photo of the cathedral because there were too many people at the bottom. We wanted to go inside and take a look but unfortunately, we were running out of time and our bus only stopped by to take photos of the exterior. There were many street vendors outside, much like the churches in our home country before the pandemic. I remember clearly that we bought some roasted hazelnuts from an elderly woman here. What do you guys miss buying from church vendors? #church #stsophiacathedral #harbinchina #myownphoto #originalcontent #katsphotography #Photography
