In this season of pandemic,where all of our plans have been shuttered ang yet hoping it will still happen. Where earth find its rest for a while. Where our economy is slowly degrading, finding solution on how to bounce back, and where dreams are silently fading. Where we closed our doors for safety, comforting ourselves that everything will be okay not later but sooner.
And one of the saddest part is when people mind distance from each other. Many of us has been asking a lot of questions and trying to answer it by finding solution to our problems and making ourselves productive this time. But are the answer for this can be really answered by our own understanding or knowledge?
In the midst of uncertainty on how will this pandemic end, where can we find peace? Peace in times of trouble? Peace in times of uncertainty? Peace in times of depression, anxiety and loneliness? Where is peace? How can we find peace in our world especially in times like this?
I believe the answer for all our problems, questions and doubts that we are all seeking can only be found to the Creator of this universe. But if you ask me, if God knows the answer then why He allowed it to happen? Then my answer is this:HIS PLAN FOR YOU FROM THE BEGGINING DOESN'T CHANGED BY WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THIS DAY. His plan will still prevail. What if this season direct us to God to learn relying on Him alone? What if this seasons purpose is to teach us that we can't live apart from Him?
Theres a situation in our life that is beyond our ability that only He can do. There's a story in the Bible that will teach us to focus to the One who is in control of everything. It says in Matthew 14:25-33,"Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking in the lake, they were terrified. It's a ghost they said and cried out in fear.
But Jesus immediately said to them:Take courage. It is I.. Don't be afraid. Lord if it's you, Peter replied, tell me to come to you on the water. Come, he said. Then Peter got down on the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beggining to sink, cried out, Lord, save me! Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. You of little faith he said, why did you doubt? And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 then those who were in the boat worshipped him, saying, Truly you are the Son of God...
We can find answer to our questions in life... in the Bible. The right answer can only be found to the Author of your life and to His Word. Rest assured, peace has a name and His name is JESUS. He is the peace in every season of your life and He is the peace that we need today...
