Not yet satisfied, William S. Harley felt that he still wanted to gain knowledge in the field of machinery. He eventually earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1907. Harley became the first person in his family to earn a bachelor's degree.
After getting supplies in the field of machinery, Harley then returned to his place. He then returned to raise the Harley Davidson company with Arthur and Arthur's two brothers.
In the first years, Harley Davidson was able to create 3 bicycles, including a crank and pedal bicycle and a single cylinder motorcycle.

The name Harley Davidson became increasingly known in the United States market, especially during World War I. The US military at that time dared to supply Harley motorcycles as a unit needed during the war.
In 1930 Harley Davidson's signature flying wing logo was born. The logo began to be used on the motorcycle tank and continues to be used today.
