Despite the fact that COVID-19 is obviously a serious illness for the old and vulnerable, I have been horrified by the increased encroachment on life by our governments.

I write this here in Medellin under a 3 day total curfew where we have been ordered to stay indoors completely for 3.5 days. Masks must be worn at all times on the street, despite a total lack of scientific evidence that that COVID-19 spreads effectively in open outdoor areas.

Now it appears that governments will require to have proof of vaccinations if we want to do basic things like travel and attend sporting events in the future. There seems to be very little political will to investigate who has already developed immunity through exposure to the virus. Is it just a coincidence that the policies being pushed by government are those that will most profit Big Pharma and Big Tech?

At what stage do we tell these people, people who were born equal to us, that they do not have the right to control our freedom and behaviour?
