RAB has arrested two people with weapons from Mirpur in the capital. They were arrested from Mirpur's Golchatbar area No. 10 on Saturday morning. They are Ariful Islam alias Chakku Arif (32) of Narayanganj and Jobayer Hossain (30) of Madaripur district.
RAB-4 Assistant Superintendent of Police Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury said, "The two arrested terrorists were extorting money from people in different areas including Aminbazar embankment and Mirpur in Savar." Besides, there are several cases against them including kidnapping and drugs in different police stations including Mirpur. In these incidents, the victims became restless and lodged a written complaint against the two with RAB-4. Later this morning, a RAB team arrested two terrorists in Hatena while they were looting in Golchatbar area No. 10 of Mirpur. A shooter gun, two knives, a motorcycle, two mobile phones and five thousand rupees were seized from them.

RAB official Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury said a case would be filed against the two detainees at the concerned police station and they would be handed over to the police.
On the other hand, Dhamrai police arrested a terrorist with domestic weapons while extorting money in Nannar area of Dhamrai in Dhaka.
