‘There is no profit in making a bill board, make a heart board’
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor in the context of placing billboards everywhere in the city. Atiqul Islam said, there is no profit in making a billboard, make a heart board. Take place in people's minds.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the upgrade and access control system of platform No. 1 at Dhaka Airport Station and the construction of access control system at Joydebpur and Narsingdi stations on Thursday (September 10).
The mayor added that you have seen a huge billboard on the airport police box for the last 18 years.
There are no leaders or activists on this billboard who have not been given pictures.
But the Prime Minister knows which leader is in the heart of the people, he is nominated.
Atiqul Islam said that sidewalks and roads were destroyed by leaving construction materials everywhere in Dhaka city. The campaign has started, the campaign will continue.
The campaign against the signboard will start from September 14. All those who illegally put up signboards will be removed.
This city needs to be fixed. Everyone must fix Dhaka city together.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell, Mayor of Gazipur City Corporation Mohammad Jahangir Alam and others were present on the occasion.
