One course is being taught in three and a half hundred schools in Bangladesh for the last 5 years, which is arranged in the form of sex education or sex education course in many western countries.

In the social reality of Bangladesh, the words menstruation, nightmares, condoms, etc. are considered forbidden. But when I went to a school in Ashkona area near Dhaka airport, I saw that the students were discussing these words in the classroom.

They are aware of these inevitable issues during adolescence. They are learning various aspects of reproductive health. Being informed about sexually transmitted and sexually transmitted diseases. Learning ways to stay away from these diseases.

For this training they are taking help of various computer games and two board games like ludo and monopoly. There are also class lectures.

The day I went to the Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Government Secondary School's Adolescent Corner in Ashkona, they were being taught about child marriage. The students are rehearsing a play on child marriage prevention, they showed me that too.

The students of the school from sixth to tenth class have been learning this for the last 5 years in a special classroom of this school.

This classroom has been created under a project called 'Generation Breakthrough' of the Government of Bangladesh. The room is named 'Adolescent Corner'. And here they are studying a course called 'James' which stands for 'Gender Equity Movement in Schools'.

The course is very similar to the sex education taught in the schools of western countries.

Although those concerned are reluctant to call this course sex education
