Sadek Bachchu, a powerful actor of the country affected by Corona. He is currently undergoing treatment at Corona Unit of Dhaka Medical College. When Corona was tested, his result came positive yesterday.
He was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on September 6 with a cold and fever. He is being kept breathing normally with the help of artificial oxygen.
Zayed Khan, general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association, told NTV Online on Saturday (September 12) that Sadek Bachchu was infected with corona. He said, ‘Last night Sadeq Bachchu Bhai’s corona test results came in hand. Report positive. He was taken to Dhaka Medical's Corona Unit last night. It will be kept in isolation for the next 14 days. I talked to the doctor at the hospital in the morning. '
Earlier on Thursday, Zayed Khan, Joy Chowdhury and Nayak Maruf Atiq went to the hospital to see Sadek Bachchu at Dhaka Medical College. Zayed Khan said, ‘Sadeq Bachchu Bhai is the elder, talented artist of our country. We are by his side all the time. I ignored Corona and went to the hospital to see her. We will do whatever kind of cooperation is needed on behalf of the artist association. Hopefully, he will not have any problem to get better treatment. You will all pray that he recovers quickly and returns to us. '
Earlier, on December 23, 2013, Sadek Bachchu had a heart attack. Sadeq Bachchu is one of the leading actors of Bengali films. He made his film debut from stage and TV dramas. Sadek Bachchu started acting as a regular artist of BTV in 1977-7. His first drama on BTV was 'Prothom Angikar'.
Sadek Bachchu made his acting debut in the 1975 film Ram Sumati. He is a retired officer of Bangladesh Postal Department.
