You forget the basic.

Tapos kapag nalugi yung pera sa stock market or investment, tatawaging "scam"

First of all, you enter into something you don't fully understand and that's "gambling"

Find time to study and do your research.

Ask some help from professionals so you'll fully understand.

And most of all. Don't forget the basics.

These are the exact words I told to my business partner a few days ago.

Not because I'm not happy anymore.

Not because the business is failing.

But because I just feel like giving up. Ayoko na. Napapagod na ko. Ubos na ko. And I'm tired of the constant worries:

👉 Kapag hindi ako nagsales today, anong ibabayad namin sa supplier and business partners and investor?

👉 Kapag hindi natin nahit yung target sales this cut off, anong ipapasweldo natin?

👉 Kapag nagcontinue yung constant typhoon and lock down, paano na yung deliverables sa mga clients and suppliers?

👉 Kapag hindi tayo nakaquota today, wala tayong sasahurin, paano yung kailangan iprovide for the family?

👉 Kapag nagfail ako. Paano na lang kami ng pamilya ko? Paano na yung business?

Akala ng iba, it's ALL glamorous and fun to be an entrepreneur. Akala rin ng iba, sobrang dami na naming pera and we just sleep while money is at work.

While it may be through for those who have already succeeded, but when you are starting, you know that it's years and miles away and you have to make a lot of sacrifices, shed a lot of tears, and carry a lot of pressures and burdens before it could happen.

No one knows what we have to go through every night and day para lang mapatakbo ng maayos at maging profitable and sustainable yung business in the long run. Even our own family doesn't know that!

👉 We quit our 9 to 5 job only to find out that we will be working a 9 to 9 job (or even more!!!)

👉 We have to make tough decisions for the benefit of the business kahit deep down ourselves, ang sakit sakit na.

👉 We have to sometimes give up our savings (to the point na maintaining balance na lang yung natitira) just to make the business continuously running.

👉 And most of all, once we have decided to be a full time business owners, we have to give up some opportunities and some family occasions because the business requires a lot from us.

But then, did I give up?

Of course, no.

But did I think of giving up?

Yes, but did not do it because I know it will be worth it in the end.

💖 I know everything's worth it.

And I believe the cries, pressures, burdens, and tears and everything in between are all part of the process.

✅ So if you're a business owner, a startup CEO, a solo-entrepreneur, and if you feel like giving up: this is for you.

It's normal to feel like quitting.

But remember why you started in the first place.

This is your dream. For you and your family.

This business that you build allows you to do what you love for the people that you love.

And you don't give up on the people / things that you love.
