Basic Scripture: Luke 17:29
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Welcome to today’s devotional! In today’s scripture, it was the same day that Lot went out of Sodom that the great calamity happened. Lot escaped the calamity by divine intervention. He escapes the calamity because he was found righteous. God’s favor located him and he escaped.
In the same way, in the remaining days of the yea, you shall escape every calamity. You will escape every evil orchestration and the wicked plans of the devil. God will deliver you from any fire and brimstone of hell against you and the family in the remaining days of the year. When calamity falls on others, you shall escape. It will not be said of you that in these last days of the year you were involved in an accident. Sickness will not come near you in these last days of the year. You and the family shall not see any evil calamity in the remaining days of the year. The God who had favor on Lot and delivered him shall come to your aid and deliver you from all evil calamities this year. No weapon that will be formed against you shall prevail. You and the family shall escape any calamity this year in Jesus name. Pray Now

1. Take a song of worship and pray as led by the Holy Spirit.
2. Father, in the name of Jesus, let your blood speak for me this year, I refuse to fall into calamity this year in Jesus name.
3. Any plans of the enemy against my life shall not prevail. I shall escape any calamity this year in Jesus name.
4. Any grave prepared to swallow me this year shall swallow its owners in Jesus name.
