Theme: I Shall Not Carry My Death Sentence
Basic Scripture: 2 Samuel 11:14-17
And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah. And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.
It another divine encounter with the king of kings. As we approach the end of the year I pray for a user of today’s devotional that you shall not carry your death sentence. Your hands shall not carry something that will end your life. I revert any death sentence against you today in Jesus mighty name. You will not send your death sentence to your enemy.
In today’s scripture, David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it by the hand of Uriah, and in the letter was the death sentence of Uriah. Uriah was holding his dead verdict and he didn’t know. He was carrying his death sentence and he had no idea. If only he knew like he would have been careful. If only he knew, like he may not have sent it. If only he knew!
Many believers are carrying their dead verdict without knowing. They are carrying their destructions in life without being aware of it. The person you call your friend that you share your secret with may be your dead verdict. That man you trust even more than your family members may be your death sentence. That business you have entered without knowing anything about it may be the end of your great destiny. That marriage you are entering may be your death sentence. That is why you have to pray to God that you will not carry your death sentence this year. Cancel any death sentence from the pit of hell. Pray Now
