Theme: God Is Preparing You

Basic Scripture: Exodus 13:17-18

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea…

Welcome to today’s Hour of Restoration! There are some people who reach some level of success but they fell because they were not fit. You must understand being fit is God’s ultimate plan for you. Know that what comes easy won’t last and what lasts won’t come easy. God will not give you the things you want. He will give you the things you need to help you, hurt you, break you, leave you, and to make you the person you were created to be. All the things that came to break you and hurt you actually came to teach you.

In today’s scripture, God could have used the shortcut for the Israelite to get into their promise land but He realized they were not fit to possess the land. He had to take them through the wilderness to prepare them for their inheritance. Remember God prepared David to kill Goliath through the battle he fought with lions and bears in the bush.

That is why you must enjoy your preparation period. Footballers train Boxers train! God is also training you for something special!Sometimes the training is very tough because the assignment is special! You must understand you are being prepared through tough times! Your destiny is great but God will not use unfit soldier in battle. Refuse to complain in your training period. Sometimes it may seem long, and sometimes it may seem as if nothing is happening in your life but refuse to quit. God is still working. You will have a story of how you emerge success after all is over. You will not fall after you become successful because you are fit for the success. Pray Now

1. Take a song of worship and pray as led by the Holy Spirit.
2. I refuse to be unfit for the battles of life. God is preparing me and I am enjoying my preparation period. I am champion in the making.
3. I refuse to quit. Lord, break me, mould me and use me for your glory in the name of Jesus.
