Theme: Refuse To Quite
Basic Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run that ye may obtain.
Welcome to today’s Hour of Restoration! I would like to share a true story of a man called Ron Wayne. He is a co-founder of Apple Inc. alongside Steve Job and Steve Wozniak. Just 12 days after, Ron Wayne didn’t see a future for the company so he sold his 10% shares in Apple for $800. Unfortunately for him, today, 44 years later, if he had stayed, his 10% would have been worth about $75B! Today at 86 years old, Wayne lives on his social security Cheques while his friends left fortunes for their children and grandchildren. The man didn’t see the future of a multibillion company so he quit and ended up in regret.
That is why today’s scripture admonishes you that “… Run that you may obtain” It means until you obtain what you are looking for, keep running. It also means don’t quit under any circumstance until you obtain the prize.
The struggle of many believers is like the man in today’s devotional. They don’t see the future of their little beginning so they end up giving up too early. Refuse to give up because of your current state. Refuse to quit so cheaply because of your little beginning. Always remember why you started, and determine to finish whatever you start! Run till the end. Your beginning may be small now but your ending is great. It is those that fight till the end that are crown champions. Remember “Quitters never win and winners never quit.” Don’t listen to a friend and throw your fortune away without knowing. Refuse to quit! Pray Now

1. Take a song of worship and pray as led by the Holy Spirit.
2. I refuse to be a quitter. I shall not miss my destiny due to hurry in Jesus mighty name.
3. I shall not regret my decisions in life. I will run until I obtain every promise of God in the name of Jesus.
