Theme: Seek For The Presence Of God
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
Welcome to today’s devotional! Understand this! The presence of God gives rest. In His presence, there is fullness of Joy. The presence of God is a bondage breaker. The presence destroys yokes. If His presence is not with you, you can do nothing. The presence of God always makes the difference.
His presence was with Daniel in Lion’s den and Lions could not touch him. His presence was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and fire could not burn them. His presence was with Joseph and as a slave, he prospered. The same presence followed him to the prison and as a prisoner, he prospered. He was made a ruler and the presence prospered him. The presence of God went to the house of Obededom and He prospered him in three months. The presence of God was with Jesus and He did mighty acts and healed all that was oppressed of the devil. Moses understood the mystery of the presence and desired for it. He asked God for it and God gave him His presence.
As you go about your day today and in the remaining days of the year, always seek for God’s presence. Don’t start that business without seeking the presence of God. Many businesses have collapsed because the presence that makes the difference was not in it. Many marriages failed because they didn’t have the presence. The presence of God is precious. Seek for it and you shall have it. Jesus speaking in Luke 11:13; How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? That means if you seek him, you will get him. Why don’t you seek the Holy Spirit and have rest for your soul, be full of joy, and break from every bondage. Pray Now
