Why modern marriages fail

Marriage, from antiquity as being between a man and woman and also placed the man as the head, not due to intelligence alone but also due to man's strength to work, protect and provide for his household. Marriage of old places each person in a specific role, function, and focus. For instance, the man is to provide what the family needs to eat on the other hand the woman is to make what is provided edible. In other words, women were the homemaker where every raw resource of the man is made tangible and meaningful by the wife's processing hand.

However, modern marriage is a competitive one where the women are trying to play the role of the men. Modern women no longer want to focus on their role as a mother who makes every resource of the man meaningful. Modern women want to be a leader which is contrary to their nature. Although, for women to lead themselves isn't bad, however, among men is what men find difficult. Men don't want competition in their homes, yes, men want assistance but not competitive one at home. Modern women think love is all that makes a marriage work and do not pay attention to other areas like understanding, patience, and respect. Respect for men is like love to them which the modern woman fails to understand.
