Hi Friends today i want to talk about the ring finger.
Yeah because many yet don't understand what the ring finger means all they know is that the fourth finger of the left hand is the ring finger
So without any further a do ado let us get right into it.
VENA AMORIS
Vena amoris is a latin name meaning vein of love. Traditionally it is believed that this vein ran from the fourth finger of the left hand to the heart.
So because of this tradition the wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger because it connects to the heart.
The endless circle of the ring signifies the endless or the eternal nature of the bond that is the love between the two individuals.
While we use the vena amoris it has been proven scientifically that the vena amori does not exist because there is no vein in the fourth finger that connects directly to the heart.
The belief originated in ancient Egypt that believed that rings were a symbol of their gods and they bond they share with them Egyptians, This belief later influenced the western world who then started to wearing rings as bond of love and its endless or eternal nature since it is worn on the fourth finger.
