Hi friends happy sunday to you all today this sunday i want to talk about us humans and how feeble we are.
Yes humans, when it comes to us human beings we think we are a gods or some thing.
But i want to correct that. The Bible makes us know that man is just a puff of wind psalm 144:4
Yeah just a puff of wind. Man is so feeble that he is nothing and all his hustle here on earth is are useless, so futile that he cannot leave the earth with any of it. Imagine working 365 days every year of your life for worldly possession only to be unable to leave the earth with any of them not even a pin.
The Bible says that just as we came to this world naked so share we leave it naked without anything we laboured for no matter how hard we toiled for it 1 Timothy 6:7.
Man is so feeble that a little thing can kill him.yes a very small complication can send a man six feet down below.
We all know that many have died from gunshot wounds yes even those who are supposed to survive from gunshot wounds died because of it even when no vital organ was hit and we ask the question why.
Some carry a gunshot wound in their legs and arms for days and survive but many die from it within an hour or two that is how feeble we are.
Imagine another senerio where a man who invested all his money into some goods that were to be imported , yes i mean goods that are to be imported through sea, then all of a sudden the ship capsized and the whole goods dumped inside the ocean when this business man hears this won't he have a heart attack? Of course he will because he invested the whole money he worked all his life into those goods hoping to make profits but all that hard work just disappeared with in a twinkle of an eye plus when there is no insurance to cover for all that loss , the thought of starting from the beginning all that hardwork will not only make him to give up but also he will give on life as well especially if he is now a mid aged man.
Imagine also a human who is young enough to survive or recover from a small health issue but only to kick the bucket.
Yeah it has happened so many times in our history and we keeping asking this question why
Like in Africa we know that Africa's major illness is malaria which the young people like teens should have a strong immune system to fight with the help of malaria drugs but we still hear that some teens still die from this illness when their age mates survive and recover from it. That is how feeble we are
We forget most times that though doctors have the gift of healing and to save lives but not all lives are meant to be saved that is why a life that cannot be saved will always give up the ghost no matter how hard we work to save it.
We don't decide who lives we are not gods.
Like in the case of Michael Jackson history has it that he planned to live for 150 years so he made sure he had everything to secure his life from death.
Yes he had an oxygen chamber in his house which is believed to slow down the aging process of his body cells thereby keeping him young and fresh but all that still failed him that is how weak we are we are not gods but a puff of wind that can disappear any time any day.
That is why the biblie said that man cannot live by bread alone but by the word of God, Because God's word can keep a man alive without any human effort at all not even food.
Jesus survived forty days and forty night fasting without food or water that is an example of how we can survive by only God's word.
In our history so many has survived accidents that are so fatal that in logical reasoning they should not even show fital signs but in the end a spontaneous remission happened.
If miracles like that don't happen then this word spontaneous remission won't be in our dictionary, the people who came up with this word as a medical term know amd have seen people recover beyond our comprehension.
Spontaneous remission means a recovery to health issue or challenge that cannot be explained based on logical reasoning and clinical research.
God knows that our efforts to lengthen our lives are futile, man is not a god to himself but he has a God who made him and gave him a life that no man can create even if they play God so we should look up to God and not try to play God.
