Amazing power of Ginseng

Back when i was in high school i was so curious why my father is always busy with his ginseng plant every morning. When he wakes up in the morning he will immediately go to his mini garden (where all of his ginseng plants are placed) he checks if the seeds are ready to be harvested. He harvest it when the seeds turns to brown or black. Because of this curiosity i asked him why he always checks his ginseng and he said," its because ginseng seeds are hard to find when after reaching its maturity the seeds will scattered in the ground and its hard to find it. So i always make sure to harvest it before it scattered in the ground.

I remember his first harvest of ginseng, he cut the roots and placed it in a bottle and put alcoholic beverages on it. Then i asked him why? And told him, the root might rotten because he placed it there, then he laughed at me and said, ginseng roots will grow when you put some alcohol on it. Just wait for it.

And months after that the roots started to grow! And i was so amazed! Every night my father get a small amount of it in the glass and drink it before he goes to bed. According to him ginseng has a lots of health benefits and was proven even before in the ancient times. It was used first by the Chinese way back 196AD and still globally in demand up to the present. Koreans also have traditionally uses ginseng, well maybe thats the reason why korean actors drinks ginseng everytime i watch kdramas.

My father told me that the most important part of ginseng can be found in the root which is called panax. The root can help reduce physical fatigue, helps relieves stress, it treat mentrual disconfort, relieves mental fatigue, its anti inflammatory, with anti oxidant, could lower blood sugar, can even boost our immune system and a lot more of health benefits. Isn't amazing how this root can help us?

This is my father's 12 year old ginseng placed in the Bottle. He make sure that there is always alcohol on it.

He made some ginseng in a bottle to give as a gift to his friends. He just keeps on collecting bottle so that he can put his ginseng roots on it and gives it to our relatives and friends for free.

This is the actual photo of his ginseng plant, but unfortunately he already harvested the seeds a week ago so i cant share it with you guys as of the moment.

Well, my insight about ginseng is that, yes its very amazing because of its health benefits but, we should also do our part. Drinking medicinal plants and having a healthy living, doing exercise and eating healthy foods are the best way to fight and avoid getting sick.
