I read in an international research report that the Hindu population in Bangladesh (erstwhile East Bengal) was 31% of the population in 1947. When East Pakistan became an independent Bangladesh in 1971, it was just below 1 in 5, i.e., about 20% of the population. Now it is 1 in 10. Why?

Actually there is many reason behind it.In the history of indian subcontinent,we find a mind blowing theory. That is India is for Hindu and Pakistan is for Muslim. This discrimination we know as biracialism. It creates a mentality in both community that hindu Muslim can't stay together. In 1947 when hindus shift to india, the rate of hindu population had been decreasing.

Indian constitution gives equal rights to all humans of any religious beliefs. Pakistan and Bangladesh have formed constitutionally Muslim nations, and discriminate against the citizens based on religion.

That is the main reason Hindu and other non-Muslim populations are diminishing in both Pakistan and Bangladesh at an alarming rate! After 1947, a large Hindu population was either driven out or ran away from East and West Pakistan. There was a violent riot in Noakhali in 1946 where mass killings of the Hindu population took place. Since 1971, the Hindu population in Bangladesh has been continually diminishing.

In India, the percentage of the Muslim population is increasing at a very high rate.

I agree with you.Generally there is a third party who want to create a discrimination between Hindu and Muslim. As example:In 2021,an incident took place in Bangladesh.Someone placed the Holy Quran of Muslims at the foot of an idol in a temple to incite Hindu-Muslim riots. When it went viral on social media, the country started rioting. Some extremist Muslims set fire to the homes of Hindus. On the other hand, extremist Hindus join riots with Muslims. Basically, there are signs of a conspiracy behind everything. Our government is providing full security for both communities. Even Hindus are given tight security during puja. Hindus and Muslims have co-existed in the Indian subcontinent for a long time, and the social and economic independence of Hindus in Bangladesh is still intact.

Someone placed ..... to incite Hindu-Muslim riots.

From the CC Camera footage, it was discovered that "Someone" is a Muslim boy who did the crime! It was also later detected which Facebook page shared the photo. But, Bangladesh police didn't arrest them or put them on trial for their crime! They are roaming free! Instead, the police arrested the Hindus who protested against the crime.

We saw all the news videos and validated the facts from personally acquainted sources in Bangladesh.

Unfortunately, the government and the ruling political party don't realize that all these incidents weaken the nation's future.

It's wrong. For political reason, political parties have occupied this kind of event. The man who put the holy quran on the foot of idol was a muslim. But you can't drag the religious fact there.Radical Muslims and members of the Illuminati are behind these conspiracies.
