Help us empower 50 girls with digital storytelling skills on International Day of the Girl Child
October 11 is the International Day of the Girl Child, a global observance that aims to highlight the challenges and opportunities that girls face around the world. This year's theme is "Invest in Girls' Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being".
At Junub Open Space, we believe that investing in girls' education and empowerment is crucial for creating a more peaceful and prosperous society. That's why we are launching a fundraising campaign to train 50 girls from Juba, South Sudan, on digital storytelling skills.
Digital storytelling is a creative and innovative way of using computer-based tools to tell stories or present ideas. It can help girls express themselves, share their experiences, and inspire others. It can also enhance their digital literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills.
We need your support to make this happen. We are looking for donations in Bitcoin Cash, a cryptocurrency that offers fast, low-cost, and reliable transactions. Bitcoin Cash is a sound money that preserves its value over time.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 in Bitcoin Cash. This will cover the costs of equipment, materials, and refreshments for the 50 girls. We will also document and share their digital stories online, so you can see the impact of your donation.
