Hi guys!
I just want to share some pictures I've took on my phone last year when I visited Olanivan Island. Olanivan Island is located in Davao Occidental, Mindanao. It is a remote island where tourists can enjoy the breathtaking scenery that surrounds it. This tropical island has a circular sand beach formation and is near to Balut Island and Sarangani Island. It is so small that it will only takes less than 30 minutes to walk around it, amazing!
Another, the only resident of this island is the caretaker. Yep, only the caretaker. So it is so relaxing to hop in this island knowing that it is not crowded. Actually, when we visited the island, there is only us(visitors) and the caretaker were on there.
The following are the pictures I've took that time.
Above picture was taken when we were approaching the island on a small boat(banca). Yep, on a small boat.
Voila! Were in the island. After walking and dodging some obstacles in the water because the island itself surrounded by corals and it's low tide that time. The boat can't go to the shore so we have to walk in the water.
Such an amazing sight. A calm crystal clear water and the white sand of the beach.
