Final: LAL,116—MIA,98

The Los Angeles Lakers have proved that they are too much against the Miami Heat in their Finals battle; they had led as much as 32 points before their apparent victory against the Miami Heat on Game 1 of 2020 NBA Finals. They managed to erase the Heat's 23-10 first quarter lead, and never looked back since.

Lakeshow.

Anthony Davis once again proved that he is a force to reckon with. He got a dominant 34 points output leading the game with an 11/21 fg. He added 9 boards, 5 assists and 3 blocks in 38 minutes of playing.

LeBron James didn't have to be aggressive in making his shots in the game, but still manage to put big numbers and have a double-double performance. He had a total of 25 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists in 36 minutes of playing.

Other Lakers' player that managed to have double-digit points are: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with 13 points in 2/6 3fg, Danny Green with 11 points in 3/8 3fg, and Alex Caruso with 10 points in total.

History for the "King."

LeBron James once again added some record in his career achievements as he became the seventh NBA player to appear in 50 NBA Finals games. He also climbed in the 2nd spot of the Finals 3-pointers made, with 88 three-pointers; behind by Stephen Curry of the Golden State warriors. Jr Smith and Danny Green are also in the list with 4th and 7th spot respectively.

Lakers are hotter than the Heat.

Lakers are not known for capitalizing their points outside the paint; but in the game, they already have matched their average 3-point output in the first half by hitting 11 3's.

They also showed physicality by grabbing 64 rebounds against Heat's 40 boards only. Courtesy to their big frontcourts: Davis, Morris, Howard and James.

Injuries plagued the Heat.

Jimmy Butler twisted his foot and apparently got injured, but he opted to sit on the bench and play the remaining time of the game. Bam Adebayo had his shoulder hurt in the 3rd quarter and didn't play after that. Fortunately, the x-rays shows a positive sign that he can still play on the next game. The Slovenian guard had the worst injury among them; it was revealed that he got plantar tear in his left foot(sounds bad). He will remain questionable to play in the Game 2 where the Lakers looking to grab a 2-0 series advantage.

On a positive side, Kendrick Nunn prevail for the Heat as he contributed 18 points on 8/11 fg shooting in only 19 minutes of playing. He will be expected to take the place of Dragic; if ever the latter wouldn't be able to play.
