I remember playing this on Facebook, and this is actually my very reason I created a Facebook account back in the year 2009. It is a perfect leisure for those who are just want to pastime after a very busy day in school. It helped me get through the long tiring day in the university, and taught me how to socialize with others through this game. It also taught me how to organize my things and be patience; it will make you wait until the harvest time comes. I played it for more than a year, and yes, I still have some album of my farm in my Facebook account.

Now that the developer of the said game, Zynga, announced that the popular 11 years old game will come to a shutdown. According to them, it is a result of the Adobe's stoppage on distribution and update on their Flash Player on all web browsers; in which the game is being supported. After this, Zynga will also totally stop supporting any Flash games on the said platform on or after December 31st on this year.

The developers also expressed their utmost gratitude towards the players through this statement,

"We’re aware that many of you have been with us since the very beginning, helping to build an incredible global community of players over the years who’ve enjoyed this game just as much as we have. For that we say thank you."

They also pointed out to its players that in-app purchases will only available up until November 17 of this year, as the game's payment system will be totally turned off on that date. Meaning, in-app payments and purchases will not be process during that time. However, Farmville  will be still playable until December 31; the day that Zynga will stop supporting Flash games; the day of its total shutdown.

FarmVille's Journey.

FarmVille is a farming simulation social network game developed by Zynga in 2009 and launch in the Facebook in the same year. It has a simple gameplay in which players will have to simulate farming; such aspects included are farmland management, planting trees and crops, plowing lands, harvesting fruits and crops, watering crops, raising livestock and decorating the farm. In the month of March year 2010, it reached its peak of popularity when the game reached 83.76 million of monthly active users. 34.5 million for its active users. After that year, they experienced the decline of the numbers of active users and didn't recovered since then. In September 2012, they launched its sequel, Farmville 2. And this year, they are bidding farewell after 11 years of making the people enjoyed their game.
