Growth and development in young people

In certain parts of the world children take up sniffing solvents such as those used in glues. The reason for this is that the solvents are easier and cheaper to get than drugs. The solvents can cause a loss of appetite which results in a loss of body mass. They can cause headaches, sickness, coughing and harm to the brain that results in loss of memory. The solvents harm the lungs, affect how the nerves control breathing and damage the structure of the liver, kidneys and bone marrow.......
