My kids were craving for pizza... as I don't have a budget for that now, they innovate and create their own pizza using whatever they can find in the kitchen : slice bread, tomato sauce, hotdogs, ham and cheese, toasted and viola... their makeshift pizzas. ππ

The start of something new. I am trying the granny squares. So tedious to make as there are lots of yarn ends to hide but the result is beautiful. Can you guess what this will be ? π
My daughter made some creamy chicken carbonara without the pasta for lunch. Delicious and fulfilling. π
A blessed Sunday everyone. New collection to add colors to the gardens. Beautiful tiny flowers but bountiful. βIf we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change.β β Buddha
Pizza for dinner tonight. π Pepperoni and Ham & Cheese. π§ My kids were craving again and chip in. I have to give my share too. Fulfilling. Food is life indeed. π
What a hot day to start the week. Woke up and went to the terrace to greet my beautiful flowers. Found out that the sun is so high up and took some pictures. The sun makes a perfect lighting for this one. Happy Monday my friends. πΈ Viva Las Vegas adenium's tiny flowers.
Finished another project and wrote down the pattern. This is made of lots and lots of granny squares. You might want to visit me at read.cash for the granny square pattern.𧑠https://read.cash/@Judith1969/granny-square-1b6a7b4f #Crafting
I started another project. This time it is for me, a blouse. I used the extra yarn from my previous project which was also a top, but the yarn was way more lacking. As I don't have the right colors on hand, I bought a lot of spools of thread and tried to make my own gradient yarn. It turned out to be a nice combination. This will be put on hold for a while as I just received another commission. 𧑠#Crafting
Ampalaya or bitter gourd. From the gardens to the table for lunch. As this was harvested from the gardens, there are no chemicals sprayed on it. That makes this ampalaya organic and healthy. FACTS : Helps in lowering the blood sugar levels. Regular consumption of this contributes to relieving constipation and indigestion.
I did some pruning of my coleus plants last Sunday. As they are easy to propagate, I plant the cuttings on the same pot. After three days, the cuttings starts to stand sturdy and is making the pots looking so lush. This is how they look now. Love the blend of colors.
The sun shines so hot early today. I want to focus on triple amazing adenium but the sun overlaps its beauty. It is really difficult to get a perfect picture when you cannot see clearly the subject because the light of the sun is directly in your eyes. But I think this comes out nicely. π
My son got hold of his arse today π a Cebuano expression : naka kuot sa lubot. π Went down early to prepare for our lunch. He said this chicken steak. The chicken is very tender. It is delicious. Good job Zander. ππΌ
The plant vendor in motorcycle drops by again this morning. Usually, when he drops by here he only have few plants left. I always complained that he is selling me leftovers. But today I was the first one who got to choose the plants he brought. I got this beautiful yellow flowers. Do you know its name? π
Going out for a road trip today. The weather has cooperated with us. It was raining hard last night, enough to have a cool nice sleep. But this is my clouds today. So fit for a day out.
This is where we went this morning on our road trip. I wrote about our day today at read.cash. Here is the link should you want to read. https://read.cash/@Judith1969/a-day-well-spent-383536b0 Hope you can drop by. β€
Looking for tiles for my brother's apartment. There are plenty to choose from and makes me dizzy which one to buy. In the end, cost and stock availability prevails.
Lilac Wandering Jew. It looks more green for now as I placed them under the shade for a week now. I pruned them last week and planted some of the cuttings back into the pot for a lush effect. This loves the sun and changes from green to lilac when in full sun. Easy to propagate, just cut some stems and plant them directly.
The new commission is fast to crochet but adding tassels is taking so much time and effort. Every time I added a tassel I kept on thinking that I should have increased the price for this. π Anyways, adding tassels is the last step but plenty more to go. . Hope to finish this soon as delivery is this Friday.
My brother came to the house late last night and brought some pickled vegetables with him. I was just able to taste it this morning. It is delicious and the spiciness is just right. π I also love the packaging. The glass is worth saving and recycling. π§‘π Thanks Bro. π
Yey. It is finally done. After long hours of adding the tassels, it is finally done. Do you know whose Disney character wore this costume? Is the tassel ok or is it too long? Do I need to cut it more - the bottom tassel, I mean? #Crafting
Throwback Tuesday! π My boss lady lost her dachshund to death. When she talks about her pet, I can see tears in her eyes. πΆπ So I crocheted her a gift for her birthday to remind her of her dachshund. I think she opened her gift when she reached home at night as she texted me with a very happy message. Glad to make someone happy. π (forgive the mess on my craft table) π #Crafting
Three years ago Big Bad Wolf came to Cebu. I told myself not to go there as I know what will happen but my kids keeps on asking me to bring them there. You'll surely have stars in your eyes when you get inside seeing lots and lots of books. In the picture is my daughter Dani. Now you see why I don't want to go there. ππ
Fresh from the backyard garden, a guyabano and an indian mango. When something is planted, something is reaped. Finally the long wait is over and we can now enjoy our fruits of labor. Soon will be harvesting mangos from the front yard. π
Yey. Another harvest today. Cacao fruits. Will have the beans milled to make pure cacao chocolate. This will make a great chocolate drink. π«π
Currently at Maayo Medical again. Accompanying my daughter on her dental appointment. It's her first time to experience tooth extraction and she is very afraid. π
We drop by the Japanese restaurant for take out. We got spicy ramen, gyoza and chicken karaage. Delicious. Fulfilling. Brought it home for sharing with family for lunch. π‘πβ€οΈ
Having lunch under the mango tree. The weather is so nice to stay outside. Potato salad and lettuce anyone? Care to join? π
