As I am so engrossed lately with mystery series, I might as well write an article about it. Watching these mysteries made me slightly inactive here in read.cash and noise.cash. I am sorry if I haven’t visited your articles my friends. This fascination with these series will soon fade anyway.
Are you fond of mysteries too?
For a few days now, I have been watching a mystery series in YouTube. The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.
The main character, Aurora Teagarden, is being portrayed by Candace Cameron Bure. I like her character in this series. She is a feisty librarian who is into solving mysteries and doesn’t stop until the mystery is solved.
She heads the Real Murders Club whose members are also into solving mysteries. They analyse old murder cases and current cases that happened in their surroundings.
Each series has a plot that is so twisted that it is difficult to identify who the killer is but Row, as she is fondly called by her colleagues, has a sharp mind and the ability to notice things. She also has the tenacity of an octopus. She keeps a good grip on the mystery once she knows that there is one to solve.
As per observation, there is a downside on what she is doing. And that is, it means that the police were not doing a good job of solving the cases on their own.
Another thing that I like about the series is that there is a love story in between the murders.
Another mystery series that I love to watch is The Gourmet Detective. The title itself tells that this is a delicious mystery series. It involves good food. This time the main character is a gourmet chef who help his friend who eventually became is girlfriend, a police detective, solves the cases. The cases here are family related. It’s either a member of the family is the victim or a family member is the murderer.
There are more mystery series available in the Hallmark Channel in YouTube. There’s the Garage Sale Mysteries, The Hailey Dean Mysteries, Crossword Mysteries, Murder She Baked and many more.
The best mystery series for me is Signed, Sealed, Delivered. It does not involve murders and deaths but instead it is about finding people whose mails have not reached them or delivering of mails even if they are very old ones. Some of its series also involves reuniting people. Having returned the mails to the senders or delivered mails to the addressee, there is always something good that happens in the end. There are four main characters in this series and again a love story is added that does not end in every series. It is always to be continued in the next story.
The problem with this is that we don't know which story is next. Unlike in Netflix that the series are already in chronologically arranged. You don't have to look which follows next.
But nothing beats real life murder mysteries. Have you watched Crime Documentary? Real detectives and police officers looking for clues and solving the cases.
What is common in all these mysteries? PUZZLE.
Don’t you just love a puzzle? I love puzzles especially when it has lots of twists. Either movie, series or game puzzles suits me well.
Mr. Google says that a puzzle is a game, problem, or toy that tests a person's ingenuity or knowledge. In a puzzle, the solver is expected to put pieces together in a logical way, in order to arrive at the correct or fun solution of the puzzle.
And this is what exactly the characters in the series and real life detectives are doing.
I remember one Christmas time. I was making puzzles for my staff to solve for our Christmas party. Of course with a help of another staff as I cannot do it alone. They have to look for clues from one area to the other in order for them to claim a prize. It was fun. It does make the party lively.
What puzzle do you like? Are you fond of mystery series too?
If you have read till the end, I thank you for that. I just don’t have a topic in mind for now.
Love Lots. JES
Thanks for dropping by. 🧡🧡🧡
