Finally, Joining The Bandwagon

 I have finally jumped and joined the bandwagon… the bandwagon of the SSS, the Shopee Sale Shoppers. 😁

Since early this year, I saw a lot of my virtual friends doing some online shopping during the monthly sale of Shopee. Every month Shopee has this sale called 7.7; 8.8; 9.9; 10.10 sales. The first number means the number of the month and the second number is the day of the month. So when its 7.7 sale, it means that the sale in July will happen in July 7, the sale in August will happen on the 8th of August and so on.

Since I read some virtual friends about their shopped items a few months ago, I tried to join them and scroll on Shopee site days before the day of sale. I even add to cart some items that I want to buy. But unluckily, I always forgot to check them out during the day of the sale.

But finally I was able to shop online this October. I was able to add to cart some items and checked them out on October 10, the 10.10 sale.

Do you want to know why I was able to check out?

It is because my daughter is the one doing the add to cart for the items that she asked me to pay. They ordered a lot of Kpop Glitter Photocard Binder.

So on October 10, they reminded me to check out the items in the cart. Before checking out, I first checked on the shop to see if there are items that I might want to buy. I saw some facemask necklace made of glass chain and thought that it might be good for a Christmas gift. So I order some as they are very cheap, at Php 38.00 or $0.77 each.

Sad to say that these orders were cancelled by Shopee as the seller was not able to deliver.

I also visited another site to order other items for Christmas gift. I asked my daughter where she bought her sleepwear so that I can check on the shop. I was able to add to cart and checked them out right away.

And at last, today, October 21 2021, I received my package. At least this was not cancelled by Shopee or else I won't be able to join the bandwagon. 😁

The was properly wrapped with bubble wrap. I think this is to protect the box from getting wet.

 I opened the box right away to check on the items. I first checked if they are completely delivered by checking on my orders at the shopee app against what has arrived. Thankfully, it was complete.

 I even got a freebie. A dress. Talking about great customer service.

To save on the Christmas wrappers, I usually get brochures from stores and made Christmas wrappers out of them. There are lots of these for free in supermarket and department stores. And they are thick and glossy too. I just taped them together to make a paper bag.
