Assalamu Alaikum. Hope all of my friend is fine by the grace of Allah.

Today i am here after the long time cause i'm was something busy at day.

Now i want to write an article about the dignity of Women in Islam. Hope you all like to read it. So lets start.

Islam is not only a religion but also a complete code of life. As a complete code of life it ensures all kind of right both for women and men in every sphere of human life. The Prophet Mohammed (S) declared equal rights and duties for men and women.

★ Equality of sexes in the Islam...

Equality of sexes means men and women should have the same field of activity. They should shoulder equal responsibilities in all spheres of life. They have identical position in the Society. So equality between the sexes does not mean their identical and same rights duties and responsibilities rather equality in the light of holy Quran means eqitable right of the men and women which Allah is Maker.

★ Women the Equal Partner of Man.....

Allah Says " O mankind! Be dutiful to your lord, who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Hawwa), and from them both. He created many men and women.... (4:1) So women are the equal partner of men in this earth and thereafter.

★ Same Origin And Equality....

Men and Women are quite equal to each other in their origin, their abode as well as their place of return and as such as entitled to similar and equal rights. The holy Quran addresses, He created you all from a single personv,and then created of like nature His mate.... (36:6)

★ Right as Mother....

In islam, mother has given a degree over father which is evident from the Hadith. In the holy Quran both father and mother has been treated equally to be honoured bu their sons and daughters. The holy Quran says, " We enjoined on man kindness to his parents : in pain did his mother bear him and in pain did she give him birth " (46:15).

★ Right to Marriage....

Islam has recognized women as a partner of men. The holy Quran says, " Live with them ( your wives) on a folling of equality and kindness " (4:9). In another verse, " Allah says, and Don't forget liberality between yourselves " (2:37).

★ Right to Education.....

Women have the right of Education. As the holy Quran says, " Read in the name of your lord who has created ( all the exist) " (96:1). Prophet Mohammed (S) said : Education has been compulsory both for men and women.

And also more and more dignity is available for Women in islam like Right of Mahr, Right to Divorce, Rights of Inheritance, Right to hold property, and Veil / Pordah.

Pordah : Islam has made it compulsory both for male and female to maintain pordah. As the holy Quran says, " Say to the believing men that they should lower their Gaze and Guard thier modesty. That will make greater purity for them; Allah is well acquainted with all that they do " (24:30). And they should not display thier beauty and oranments except what appear thereof....(24:31).

Now it is very clear that the status of Women in Islam is Unprecedented high and realistically suitable to her nature. Her rights and duties are equal to those of man but not necessarily or absolutely identical with them.
