Dr. Muhammad Yunus is a masterpiece child of Bangladesh. He won the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Grameen Bank in 2006. The status of Dr. Muhammad Yunus's Nobel Prize is a source of immense joy, honor and glory for us.

His Birth And Education.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus was born on June 26, 1940 in a village called Bathua under Hat Hazari Police Station in Chittagong District. Dr. Muhammad Yunus's father's name was Dula Mia Saudagar and mother's name was Sufia Khatun. He started his education in the primary school of his village. Later he studied in Lama Bazar Primary and Chittagong Collegiate School. Later he secured 16th position in SSC examination. He was admitted to the Department of Economics, Dhaka University in 1958, where he obtained his B.A. in 1970 and his M.A. in 1981.

Dr. Yunus's Career.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus joined Chittagong College in 1981 as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics and left for America within a few days. There, earned a PhD in Economics in 1989 from Vander Built University. Then he came to Bangladesh again and joined Chittagong University as a Professor of Economics.

Dr. Yunus's Life Style.

Dr.Yunus is a very simple and ordinary person. There is no arrogance and anger in his mind. He always happy and his main job is to improve the lot of common people. That is why he used to run from village to village. Provides loans without collateral for people. He finds joy in work. He has no separate expensive house and car. He travels around the world in the same outfit.

Grameen Bank of Dr. Yunus.

As a pioneer of micro-credit in the banking world, Dr. Yunus gained a great reputation at home and abroad. Among the poorest people in the country, the most vulnerable, the most helpless, this small loan for women, moreover, men can get. But women have the highest priority. Grameen Bank's loan repayment rate is about one hundred percent. Dr. Muhammad Yunus's Grameen Bank has been recognized as the most important, most successful work in the empowerment of women in this country.

Winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Grameen Bank, a prominent Economist in Bangladesh, also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. He was the third Nobel Laureate. As Bangladesh is the first Nobel Laureate, the image of Bangladesh has been revived all over the world. Receiving Dr. Yunus Nobel Prize after becoming Bangladesh is a great achievement of Bangladesh. The peace agreement states that real peace cannot be achieved if the masses do not find a way out of poverty. The 160 million people of the country are very happy that Dr. Yunus has won the Nobel Peace Prize. His Nobel Prize is not only for all Bangladeshi citizens. This victory belongs not only to Dr. Muhammad Yunus but to all Bangladeshis.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus has devoted his life to the betterment of deprived, neglected, oppressed people. As a reault, the mentality he had or has had to help the poorest people of Bangladesh will be reduced and Dr. Yunus's Nobel Prize will be successful only if many rich and knowledgeable people like Dr. Yunus come forward to help the poor and helpless women and children.
