The topic might seem confusing but we need to enlighten ourselves on something important. I stormed across this sometimes on the net, researched about it and confirmed its authenticity so i decide to share briefly with my dear read.cash members.
The story of Bitcoin (shortened BTC) all began in the year 2009 by an unknown individual or team with the alias Satoshi Nakamoto. Since then it has become the first currency with no middleman or Central bank which regulates it.
Now briefly to the difference,
Bitcoin (with uppercase "B") is the first internationally renowned digital payment network and protocol. Its transactions are recorded on a digital ledger which is very impossible to hack or cheat, known as 'blockchain'.
While bitcoin (with lowercase "b") is the first internationally renowned digital asset. Aside this asset, today, there are about 6000 various Altcoins created.
Don't get confused about these. They are both founded by the same person or team.
