A fact you don't know about computing

0 12

Have you ever wondered about the brain behind 'copy and paste ' technique in computers? Or you think it was developed by Microsoft or other software companies? No.

This algorithm and initiative was developed by Larry Tesler, who worked in the field of human-computer interaction, and a pioneer of personal computting who's credited with creating the cut, copy and paste function, as well as search and replace.

Tesler, who died on 16th February, 2020, at age 74, has worked at Xerox PARC, Apple, Amazon and Yahoo had played a central role in making computers accessible to people without gaining computer engineering degrees.

His works will forever be remembered. Thanks Tesla for what you've done.
