The Philippines is made up of 7,107 islands and 2,000 are inhabited. They are grouped into three main island groups, Kalusunan, Visayas and Kamindanawan. The Philippines is rich and rich in natural resources so many foreigners want to occupy us. The Philippines is also known for its various beautiful sights that can be visited or visited so many foreigners come and go on vacation in our country.
Our family has become interested in exploring the various beautiful places in different parts of the Philippines. We are used to having a special occasion or a long vacation when we plan where we can go or visit. Regardless of the fatigue and money spent, the most important thing for us is that we have fun together. Add to this the beautiful places we visit and see, moreover we have become "bonding" as a family.
Below are some of the places we have visited that you can also discover to marvel at the natural beauty of our country Philippines:
1. Baguio, City - Baguio is a highly urbanized city in northern Luzon in the Philippines and the capital of the Cordillera Administrative Region. The city was made "Summer Capital" and declared a city by the "Philippine Assembly". The name Baguio is derived from the Ibaloi word bagiw which means 'moss'. The city is estimated to be about 1,500 feet [1500 m] high, suitable for the growth and reproduction of trees and flowering plants. We often go to Baguio, first of all because we like the cold climate there and most of all my grandmother now in America has a house there where we stay.
2. Sagada, Mountain Province - Sagada is one of the ten municipalities of Mountain Province in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). It is 19 kilometers away from Bontoc, the capital of Mountain Province. If you want a secluded and exotic place, go to Sagada. Sagada is 275 kilometers from Manila and 100 from Baguio. Tourists know Sagada better than Bontoc. The rice terraces here in Banaue are beautiful even though they are not as popular. If the walls of the terrace steps in Banaue are made of hardened soil, then Sagada is made of stone. After we headed to Bagiuo we traveled 6 hours to get to Sagada, it was worth the trip because the towns there were cold and quiet. We also tried to enter a thick and steep cave.
3. Banaue, Ifugao - The Banaue Rice Terreces are known as the Banawe Rice Terraces and are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) and the eighth most amazing place in the world. This plantation was carved 2000 years ago by the ancestors of the Batad people in the Ifugao mountains. It is called payew in Ifugao vernacular. Our family planned because it was my parents' birthday so we decided to go there. It will take eleven hours to fly from Manila, so if you plan to come here be sure to be ready for a long flight.
4. Vigan, llocos Sur - The historic City of Vigan is located in the northwestern part of the coastal province of Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Luzon, Philippines. It is one of the two cities of the province. The city is known for its historic houses and buildings designed, designed and built with Asian, European and Latin American influences that have been successfully cared for by its citizens since the 16th century. Intramuros (Walled City) in Manila is the model of its design. Christmas 2015 we went to Vigan, I will never forget the happy nights on Calle Crisologo which is full of people and various shops and most of all the sweet and kind people there.
5. Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte - Pagudpud is a coastal town at the northern tip of Luzon known as a resort. It is surrounded by the town of Bangui to the south, and the mountains of the Cordillera, the town of Adams, and the province of Cagayan to the east. The South China Sea is to the north and west of it. The town of Pagudpud covers mountains, hills, valleys, and beaches. It is located 45 miles north of Laoag, the provincial capital, and 350 miles north of Manila. After heading to Vigan we traveled a few hours before reaching the North where we went to the beautiful and very clear sea in Pagudpud.
6. Boracay, Aklan - Boracay is a tropical island located in the south of Manila at the northwestern tip of the island of Panay in the Western Visayas in the Philippines. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. The island is made up of the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak. Boracay is the most famous beach visited by tourists. The best part of the island is that this four-kilometer 'White Beach' is the best beach in the world and was named in 2012 by Travel + Leisure Magazine as the "best island in the world". Easter 2015, we headed to Boracay. Ride the roro and stop at various ports, even if the trip is tiring it does not matter to us because we have witnessed the true beauty of one of the most famous beaches here in the Philippines.
7. Negros Occidental Bacolod, City - Bacolod City is the capital and most prosperous area in the province of Western Negros. According to 2007 there is a total population of 499,497. The city is known for the MasKara festival that takes place in October and is also called "The City of Smiles" and "Football City of the Philippines". Bacolod recently topped the MoneySense Magazine survey as the best place to live. After our stay in Boracay we boarded the "Super Ferry" to Bacolod. We were so amazed at the structure they called "Ruins" that I even got to another country when I saw it. We also found out that this structure was "shooting" by a famous teleserye, at a famous station then.
8. Jordan, Guimaras - Guimaras is a meeting province in the Philippines located in the Western Visayas region. The province is known for its mango main product which is also exported abroad. Jordan is the capital of the province. After we went to Bacolod we boarded another boat to Guimaras. We tasted the very sweet mango that their province is proud of, as well as their various mango products such as candy, "dried mango", pastillas, "tart" and whatnot.
9. Vinzons, Camarines Norte - Vinzons is a 4th class municipality in the province of Camarines Norte, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 37,893 people in 7,407 households. Tacboan was the first recorded name of the town of Vinzons and was later renamed Indan. It was renamed "Vinzons" in honor of Wenceslao Q. Vinzons, a former governor of the province of Camarines Norte. I was so amazed at the beauty of Calaguas Island, for me when I compare it to Boracay the sea is clearer and darker here because nothing has been discovered yet and there are no establishments here yet. From the town of Vinzons, you have to travel 2 hours by sea by boat before you reach this paradise and we only stayed in a tent, and the cool breeze served as our fan.
10. Tanay, Rizal - Tanay is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. It is located 57 kilometers east of Manila, but the usual commute between Manila and Tanay takes more than three hours depending on traffic conditions. It has parts of the Sierra Madre mountains and the border of the City of Antipolo to the northeast, Baras, Morong and Teresa to the west, General Nakar to the east, and Pililla, Santa Maria as well as Laguna Lake to the south. Sunday when we went to Regina Rica in Tanay, Rizal, this is what most people say that miraculous or miraculous and you need to climb the stairs a lot of steps before you get here. This image reaches seventy-one feet high.
It is very fun to take a walk and travel around different places in the Philippines, its beauty is really comforting and amazing. There are many other places in the Philippines that I want to visit, for me this is just the beginning of my exploration of the beautiful sights found in the Philippines. We must love and enjoy these places, or we can encourage the majority to also discover these places to make our country more prosperous. Let us not be afraid to try what we can do, they say that human life is short so do what makes you happy or what makes your heart happy.
