Condensing Knowledge

There's a lot of information available in the internet, and when I say a lot, that word just comes short. You can know with the tap of a button or a screen what happened in a place that's more than 5000km apart from your location, what are the latest trends and all aspects of a person's life. However, there's a problem with all this: As there are a lot of food choices nowadays, not all of them are good for you. Some of them might be straight junk food, something that in the long run will bring you misery and even an early death, So It is essential that you balance this with healthy food. What I'm trying to say with this is that now It's easier to find content, though not that easy to find content that brings you wisdom, something that is good for you and can improve your life greatly, and If you happen to find, It will probably be buried deep between pages and pages of other information that might not be that useful to you. That's where the role of a creator in the digital age comes, someone who's willing to spend all that time digging deep into different sources in order to find the best pieces of content, summarizing then and condensing them into more digestable things and realizing It to the world. In this article I would like to guide you through the process of how the process of many of these content creators goes, with three phases that go into the development of the final product. Let's begin with the first:

Consuming:

What I mean by consuming is to absorb all the information possible in a particular field or topic, consulting all available sources or at least the ones that surely have the greater amount of insight, wisdom and learnings in them, not mattering how much time It takes to do so. An example of this can be brought up with an assignment, where at the beginning of It you don't even know where to start, then you begin to read different books and posts that guide you in the process of making It, preparing you for the next part.

Curating:

If you read a book, chances are you won't be able to memorize all of It even If you write It from scratch on a paper, so you resort to a better method, where you highlight all the things that you consider the most important about the book. In this way you will be able to sort out the good kind of information that this particular title brings you from what might be just a lot of transitions between one point and the other. By selecting the right type of information in order to better condense It into a piece of value, you'll be able to make It much more impactful, making a reference to the "All killer no filler" phrase.

Creating:

Once you have the previous parts of the process down, this might be a piece of cake for you. Now that you have all the information and the structure in which you want to establish It to create a new project, you'll be able to act much quicker, giving reign to all the knowledge adquired, and delivering It to the world in a way that everyone understands It better, without going through countless pages of a lenghty book to find It, instead reading It, watching It or hearing It in a much more compact format, at the end of the day filling their mind with just the right amount of useful information.

I hope that with the presented piece of information I could have provided you with some insight into the process of creating a particular piece of information, taking all the knowledge from great authors, synthezing It and creating something much more light and at the same equally as impactful when trying to convey the points they presented, making It easier for you to recognize at which part of the process you are and even guiding you to teach to others valuable things. Thank you for your support and good luck!
